Great itinerary

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

We had looked forward to this cruise for 4 years due to Covid. B2B North east Asia/Southern Japan. First impressions of the ship weren’t great, she looks tired and the interiors are pretty dated (although cabin was lovely). Staff were all, without exception, very friendly and attentive. Entertainment in our opinion was second rate and repeated word for word on the second leg. We expected it ...

It was our 50th wedding Aniversary.Boarded 6/2/2024 Singapore to Singapore through Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. We were so disappointed with the lack of hygiene and infection control. There were no hand sanitizer in lobby were lifts were and the hand washing bays in the buffet area were not being used in the beginning. When Gastro came to staff attention on the 17/2/2024, things changed. All of a ...

We are on a cruise in Asia from Singapore to Hong Kong and have to describe the experience as distinctly average. The staff are great and the food is plentiful. The boat is ok if a little old fashioned and frayed at the edges. However what we found quite remarkable is how things you would expect to be part of an expensive all exclusive package are extras. Wow do they know how to charge: ...

Not as good as it used to be

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We chose this cruise so that we could visit friends in Sri Lanka. we upgraded to a suite which I found, particularly small. Cutbacks are very noticeable. Even at the daily quiz, there were no prizes given for the winners anymore, like a keyring or a hat. Too much room is taken up with the art auction. Staff did not seem as happy as usual . food in the buffet was very samey. . ...

This was our second celebrity cruise (the first on Infinity in S.America which was awful in early 2023) review online here, we thought about cancelling this cruse when we returned but we wanted to visit the ports and had this booked since 2019 and we would give Celebrity another try as we are further into the restart. Overall this was a much better experience then our previous Celebrity cruise ...

Cutbacks have made Oceania quite mediocre.

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Nautica

We are a retired couple who have cruised with Oceania for many years. In the past, they have been outstanding; however, recent cutbacks have resulted in our May 2023 Singapore to Dubai cruise falling well short of our expectations. Specifically: * Although the meals were well-cooked and attractively presented, the food quality was lower. We received shrimp whose meat was mush; hard to cut ...

Excellent itinerary 16 days Singapore to Tokyo. PRO'S - Staff good, cabin stewards great - food excellent in Princess Grills and Lido - theater shows very good - Talks overall good, Sally Gunnell was totally in command and interesting. Ship looked good after her paint job. CON'S - Never spoke with an officer, they never made eye contact and normal walked very quickly in two's. the Captain ...

Our 3rd cruise with HAL has us a bit concerned

Review for a Asia Cruise on Westerdam

We have only cruised 3 times with HAL, however each was 14+ days. We were on the last Asia cruise before Covid, and the 1st one since Covid (ports in Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan). Both on Westerdam. However HAL is down trending for us. Preface: Let me just say that running a cruise is a very difficult thing. Nearly every guest on board has a unique need or request. Staffing turn over ...

Disappointing

Review for a Asia Cruise on Westerdam

Holland America changed the itinerary several times and the final one was not at all interesting. The food was mostly mediocre and not up to the quality on Azamara, Princess, Cunard or Celebrity. I was looking forward to America's Test Kitchen, but, alas, it was not on board. There were no professional lectures and the man who did the Thailand history lesson was very poor. The tender ...

The Cruise to Nowhere

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

Regent Seven Seas Cruises proudly claim to provide an unrivalled experience. There are two ways of looking at that as I recently discovered. We joined the Regent Seven Seas Explorer on 12 December 2022 in Singapore for the cruise titled ‘Coastal Beauties of the Pacific’ which completed in Sydney on 29 December and on the same evening departed on a cruise which was to end in Auckland. A ...
