Some bad dinning experiences

Review for a Asia Cruise on Sapphire Princess

we had dinner in the Club Restaurant. This turned out to be a complete disaster. a) Started with prawns covered in tomato ketchup. Strange sauce for this type of starter. b) Next came an “Onion Soup with Croutons”. Well this was a disgrace as no Head Chef would normally allow this dish to leave their kitchen. The cheese topping was OK but under that it was full of soggy white bread ...

We wanted to go on a cruise to see a specific port and relax. We never go t to the port. No compensation either. Lost money as we booked shore excursion separate to Princess. Our sheets weren’t changed for 10days and everything cost money. As a diabetic I couldn’t have the house soda as it was sugar based. Ship was looking old. Staff were not friendly and when i asked for fresh towels ...

God what an experience... my wife and I love cruising and we have been on most cruise lines throughout the world. Last time we were on Princess 10 years ago and let me tell you....it was a great decision not to be on it for so long. Wish we didn’t cruise with them this time, but oh well... There are many other good quality cruise lines where food doesn’t taste like it has been on a steam table of ...

First cruise we've ever taken. Singapore Asian itinerary.

Review for a Asia Cruise on Sapphire Princess

As people in our 40's this was our 1st ever cruise and Princess wasn't our initial choice... we originally had booked Royal Caribbean but cancelled that cruise when we found out it was going to be a "cultural enrichment" cruise designed for Asian passengers. So we decided to book Princess even though we thought Royal Caribbean was going to be more "fun" for us. Having said that we are not ...

Wonderful experience!

This was our first experience on Norwegian. It was chosen mainly to perfectly fit over Xmas shutdown and for itinerary, despite overpriced airfares from Sydney to Singapore during busy holiday time. Overall , it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it. I could have done better for the shore excursion value but you pay for convenience. From start: We arrived to Singapore late ...

This was a two week Christmas and New Years cruise Singapore to Hong Kong. We were excited to see the Millennium after her last major refurbishment in Feb. I last sailed on Millennium in 2001 and the ship was hardly recognisable. The changes were gorgeous! We were in an extra large ocean view cabin 9000. Prior to the renovation this cabin had two small sofas, after the redo just one and a ...

First cruise. A mixed review

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

This was our first ever cruise, a pretty bold step to take for your honeymoon, especially when one of you (me) gets sea sick. I really wanted to show my husband this part of the world though and he isn’t one for travelling from place to place so a cruise seemed like a good idea. Off I popped to the chemist and stocked up on all of the drugs, and with everything crossed for smooth seas we set off ...

We cruised on the Millennium, from Singapore to Hong Kong, over Christmas and New Year. And we had an amazing time… The itinerary was just brilliant, giving us time to have a taste of Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Yes, some of the places you might want to visit are a long way from the ports, but if you’ve done your research you’ll know this and be prepared for some long coach ...

Singapore was amazing, I called based my trip on the movie Crazy Rich Asians, It was my first time to Asia. Singapore did not fail, it was amazing city, I was there a total of 8 days. My cruise was either hit or miss with Guest Services and very rude main dinning room employees. 1st my room was underneath the prep kitchen, everymornign at 2:15, they would start banging and dropping things. ...
