We travelled on Quest from Singapore to Athens after a Xmas Silverseas Spirit experience and the difference could not be more stark. Yes we did a review after our Xmas experience and now compare the amazing difference.
Quest crew were excellent all happy and friendly and seem to want to be there and make your trip pleasurable.

This was our first cruise on RSSC Explorer and we were hoping it would live up to it's 6 star rating. Unfortunately it did not. However, we did enjoy the ship, the food and the entertainment ( leaving aside the comedian).

We chose this cruise because it had ports on Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. We had read many great reviews about Regent having sailed on Oceania the sister company now owned by NCL. Embarkcation was reasonable enough and were soon at the Kings Court for a light lunch.
Our cabin was an obstructed balcony on deck 7 - a spacious cabin well turned out although we did have a problem with a leaking toilet for 2 days at the start of the cruise.

I must have been on a different cruise than some of the other reviewers. After 20 + cruises on various cruise lines, I found this one mediocre. Perhaps I expected too much of the exotic 37 day Singapore to Southampton itinerary.
