We chose this cruise because it ended in Sydney where we spent a week with relatives. In 2017 we did a similar cruise on the same ship which started in Sydney and ended in Hong Kong. Borded the QM2 in Singapore after a couple of days at Raffles - worth the effort for the experience. Boarding was a hassle - lines of people - harassed staff - but we arrived at check-in eventually and it took about 2 minutes to process us through - I have no idea what the hold ups were but they seemed to occur quite regularly.
