This was our first cruise with Silversea but eleventh cruise on our 7th different cruise line. Silversea is marketed as luxury 6 Star cruising and this was our first "luxury Cruse." First impressions excellent we did door to door was collected from home, transfer to airport, transfer from airport to hotel and transfer from hotel to cruise port and check in all went seamlessly. The Silver Sprit is ...
Chose the cruise to go to an area of the world that both the wife and I had not visited. Normally we have always traveled on smaller Silver Sea Ships and decided to go on the. larger ship the Muse and try it out. Overall a very nice and modern ship. However, the overall service, mainly dining, did not meet the normal Silver Sea level of excellence we have always experienced on previous ...
We went with a wine group which selected the Silver Muse as its ship for the cruise. It is a new ship, having launched in 2017. Overall, the ship is very nice. It is a smaller ship about 600 passengers.
Much has been made of the 8 restaurants on board. What we found out is that if you want to go to a restaurant that requires reservations (Atlantide and Indochine are the only "walk in" ...
We had sailed on the Silver Muse before and enjoyed it very much. It is a beautiful ship, and the deluxe verandah cabin is the best in that category of any ship we have sailed on. The service is amazing. Our butler knew our needs before we even asked! He was thoughtful, professional, and always available when we needed anything.
We noticed some of the same problems with the process of making ...
We selected this cruise because of the Silver Sea reputation for luxury. This cruise had the correct dates for our group’s calendar and it was visiting ports of Croatia. Nearest competitor was Regent. All inclusive was very nice and the food and alcohol selections were good. Up charge dining at Le Dame was worth the price but the wine selections were the same as those for the other dining areas ...
We were on the Silver Muse last year, Monte Carlo to Lisbon & enjoyed the Cruise, so thought we’d book again and we liked the itinerary to the Greek Isles. We did visit interesting ports, we especially liked Spetses & Hydra, 2 of the smaller ports. A lot of the larger ports were very crowded, as there were other Cruise ships docked. Santorini was extremely crowded & it was pretty inefficient ...
Never been near the Adriatic or the Balkan countries, thought this as a way to touch on some of them. The cabin was excellent as well as the cabin service. Dining for the most part was very good but the upscale venues left a bit to be desired. The dress code was not uniformly enforced, seemed that some guests were allowed to ignore. The shore excursions were poor and in general a waste of time ...
Myself and two girlfriends chose this cruise as it had a list of destinations that other cruise lines do not do ... especially being able to go to Kusadasi, Turkey and take a trip to Ephesus. The Spirit also has one of the largest stateroom verandas which can accomodate 3 adults. We were not over cramped, the bathroom large , a bathtub a bonus. I normally travel with Oceania and found that ...
The ship is really nice. Food was good. Service was very good. We really enjoyed the smaller ship with fewer guests. No crowds, no lines and no drunk rowdy party animals made for a very enjoyable and relaxing on-board experience. The cabin butler was exceptional. Though food was good, you are limited on your dining experience unless you "make reservations" for other restaurants and least 6+ ...
This was our first luxury cruise and we chose Silver Seas because of their ratings. The main selling points for myself were the size of the ship. It was extremely nice to be on one with 570 passengers as opposed to 5000. The food, which was incredible. The excursions and how organized everything was from start to finish and the service on board especially our private butler who was amazing. We ...
