This was the chocolate cake & pineapple opera dessert. It was divine. All the courses were detailed, but this was over-the-top & delicious.

No Worries on Silversea

Celebrating a birthday and an anniversary. We knew that Silversea would enable a trouble free voyage. Our Butler and Maid decorated our suite for the birthday/anniversary celbration with clever towel art and balloons. Our fridge was constantly restocked with our favorite beverages. Our every need was cared for (including some seasickness tablets on the occasion that they were needed. The food was ...

We prefer to cruise back from Europe rather than flying. We have been on Silversea for only four years, but it is our "go-to" cruise line. This trip fit in with our earlier plans: started with a week in Madrid in a rented apartment; then fly to Porto for an Ama Waterways cruise up and down the Douro River; then the high-speed train to Lisbon for a few days waiting to board the Whisper fro the ...

Before going on this cruise, I read several negative reviews that made me quite nervous. We had originally chosen silversea due to reviews of excellent service and dining. Then we read the reviews criticizing just those aspects. Well, it turned out our original hope was fully realized. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We enjoy leisurely dining which is the style ...

Last year we took our first cruise on Silversea to Alaska. Since our experience last year was so enjoyable, we booked a Mediterranean cruise for this year. We weren't disappointed. The food, dining room service, cabin service, bartenders were great. We only went to the main dining room and La Terrazza. The previous cruise we tried the outside hot rock experience...which is when the passenger ...

It was a fantastic time Starting from the departure city, although we didn´t stay in Southampton, we managed to have three lovely days in London. The embarkation went smoothly with a very kind help of everyone, from the time I stepped out of the taxi in the port until arriving my cabin. The ship as usual beautiful and clean. The cabin ready for us with champagne and fruits. It was a very ...

A wonderful Silversea taster cruise

The opportunity to try Silversea was one not to miss, so we joined Silver Whisper in Southampton for what turned out to be a superb mini cruise. Embarkation was speedy, though a little badly organised, check in being are reception desk with only 2 staff members on duty . A small serve of champagne was offered, and we were advised that lunch was being served, and that our suite was not yet ...

Revisiting old loves, discovering new ones

We chose this cruise due to the timing (mid June before the big summer crowds), the length (seven days), the ports of call, the offer associated with it (airfare), and the fact that we love sailing on Silversea. Their ships feel like home now, the staff is ultra professional yet friendly, and the guests are always a pleasure to meet. Although not specifically a themed cruise, the itinerary, the ...

We chose this cruise because of the date it was sailing, which may sound strange, but I had planned to attend an event immediately prior to this cruise. Well, Silver Sea does not disappoint! We were pampered by our butler, Ricardo and his assistant Neale, who were just amazing. Our cabin was just lovely, spacious and extremely well planned. The bed and bedding were simply fabulous and the ...

We've been on previous cruises with SilverSeas and have always had a wonderful time. The cruise line is beautiful and the staff is helpful and friendly. It always makes you feel welcome when the staff greats you by name by the second day We enjoy the delicious food and passenger/staff ratio. The suites are spacious and have excellent service. The cabins each have a great view whether you ...

To the Baltics and then on to Russia

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Silver Whisper

For those of you who cruise alot (like us) let's break it down. THE SHIP and PORTS OF CALL: We liked the smaller ship with just about 350 passengers. The ship had more interesting ports of call because of its smaller size and the shuttle bus service always dropped you in the center of town if you like exploring on your own. Don't bother with the tours in the smaller ports because you can walk ...
