The Silver Whisper is advertised as an upscale ship. I guess it depends on what you are looking for on your cruise. Our voyage in the Caribbean was a great disappointment in many respects. The Wait Staff were outstanding. They were efficient, professional, and an out standing group of individuals. Gilbert, thr Maitre d'hotel is a master.

The SILVER WHISPER is a very comfortable small cruise ship only carrying about 350 passengers. We never had to wait in line for anything. The stateroom was spacious and well designed. Silversea holds themselves out as an ULTRA LUXURY cruise line but is far from that. The staff is non responsive and the ship is out dated.
