This should have been an outstanding cruise, but, it was extremely inconsistent. The positives were:
The Wait Staff were outstanding. They were efficient, professional, and an out standing group of individuals. Gilbert, thr Maitre d'hotel is a master.

Selected cruise because it was presumed to be an upscale line. It was upscale in many respects but failed in others. Good food, excellent service and mostly a well trained staff. Ship layout lacked some of the features found on Seabourn. Out butler was not trained and was virtually useless. Service in the dining room was unreasonably slow. Bridge was fair to poor and not enough players. The teacher was uninteresting.
