"There were No signs, we walked at what looked like an abandoned warehouse area, finally saw a girl in the distance and asked were the Silver Dawn building was and she just pointed, continued to walk to a door and another girl just stood there and pointed, as we entered there were several uniformed folks. They should have done this every evening as the room was packed and it was great show...."Read More

1-10 of 15 Mediterranean Silver Dawn Mediterranean Cruise Reviews
This was the first cruise we had ever been on and it's interesting how we even found it- we were looking at going on a vacation in the south of Spain and logistics seemed like such a hassle for getting between cities. So, we went in search of a cruise and some criteria included: luxury ship/rooms, long days at port (no ships leaving too early), and no sea days since we did not know how we would ...
We have sailed on several lines including Regent and several Celebrity retreat suites. We had heard about the grand service, excellent food and lovely suites. We weren’t disappointed. However, I do believe after talking with many veteran SS cruisers that some things are not as they used to be. We found the food very good overall. The unlimited Pommery and caviar were a real treat although after 25 ...
This was our third Silversea Cruise this year, and to say it was outstanding is an understatement, very much a repeat cruise for us, having done it before, but the wife loves Venice and Rome, we had to days pre cruise at SS Hotel in Venice (The Bauer) again fabulous, and two days in SS Hotel in Rome (Westin) which was good, not great but good (Rooms very dated) Our May cruise (Athens to Israel) we ...
Very disappointed. This ship was billed as a top of the line luxury cruise, but for me that was far from the truth. First, one of the main reasons I booked this cruise was to see St Tropez. After I booked and paid for the cruise I was informed That the ship was going to a different port farther from St Tropez which added hours more to the driving time to get there and back and turned it into a 14+ ...
Last summer, we sailed the SILVER MOON in Greece and had such an exemplary experience, we opted to sail its new sister, the DAWN last month to Italy/Croatia/Malta. Here are the Pro's and Con's:

Stunning accommodations, the Silver Suite was as perfect, comfy and amazing as last year on the Silver Moon. Best sleep ever, super high end mattress and bedding. Spacious bathroom w/ huge tub ...
let us begin with boarding, simple straight forward, from arriving at the dock to actually boarding it took no more than 30 minutes, we were on ship having lunch and first cocktail. Our first night was having dinner in La terrazza, food was excellent, house wines were in our opinion for the entire cruise excellent, we have owned a restaurant in Sydney for 15 years, so have good understanding of the ...
This was my 7th cruise on silversea cruises my first on this ship. The ship itself is is elegant, comfortable and like others I have sailed on aesthetically pleasing. The cabin was excellent and well serviced.
The food in its main restaurant atlantide offered a poor selection and very unpredictable quality. The service at times was worse than shocking, however the staff did their best in what ...
Silver Dawn was a fine ship not even a year old, but no better than other high end cruise lines. The silver suite was roomy and well appointed. It came with a butler and talking to other guests we surmised ours was not very attentive or as accommodating as other butlers.
Much of the staff was in my opinion new as far as food service. They did not know how to pour wine and would forget what you ...
1. Embarkment in Venice was horrible at best. We had a water taxi from our hotel that was fine. We were felt off at a dock and our luggage was tagged and we were told to walk to the terminal. We were also told to follow all the signs. There were No signs, we walked at what looked like an abandoned warehouse area, finally saw a girl in the distance and asked were the Silver Dawn building was and ...
Sailing with Silversea as have done before was always going to be an adventure after a number of false starts due to Covid. Sailing from Civitavecchia was a pleasant drive from central Rome. Opting for pre-board Covid testing the system in place was all set up well for embarkation and the whole process ran smoothly.
The boarding was efficient and the cabins were ready as embarkation was from ...
