There are no bad cruises, for us they are adequate to excellent. However, I am writing this review while drinking what is perhaps the worst coffee at Sea on Silver Shadow. We have over 130 days travel with SS on various ships and each time and on each ship we have felt ‘special’ and enjoyed every aspect - food, service, entertainment - everything. Overall we enjoyed this line but likely not enough to be repeat guests. Food was not 6 star quality, not enough variety. At the buffets, often it was overcooked. Wine was very good though. Entertainment ok. Not great. Didn't like the fact that in all but two of the dining venues you needed a reservation. This allows for no spontaneous food decisions.
