Its the only way to see the Chilean coast inlets and scenery short of having your own boat. There are no roads or habitation in most of the areas we visited. Excursions by zodiac to see wildlife and glaciers were amazing. The ship was small by cruise ship standards but was therefore able to sail in confined fiords and through narrow passes.

We chose this cruise because of the S. American itinerary and because the Muse was a new ship.We were concerned about the previous negative reviews we had read related to dining and formal nights and we were pleased to see that these items were not an issue.

We have travelled on Regent several times and wanted to compare Silversea. The ship was beautiful and our suite was excellent as was our butler Pedro. The Muse is a beautiful new ship and it will not disappoint your expectations. But, near the last minute, SilverSea pulled one of the prized destinations in favor of another day at sea. we enjoyed our trip. Cabin and amenities are good. Service was very good.
Where the ship lacked was in food, information and restaurants. Although you had choice in restaurants with different names, all were essentially the same. Menus were different yet the food tasted the same. Preparation was adequate but not interesting.
