My husband and I were on the Barcelona to Lisbon cruise. I wanted to provide feedback from two millennials (not generally Silversea's passenger profile) for other millennials. I do want to give you some background on us though. My husband I are both Floridians and as such we often associate cruises with people wearing jorts, anchor-themed shirts, raving about 24 hour glutinous buffets. So I ...
This was the first cruise we had ever been on and it's interesting how we even found it- we were looking at going on a vacation in the south of Spain and logistics seemed like such a hassle for getting between cities. So, we went in search of a cruise and some criteria included: luxury ship/rooms, long days at port (no ships leaving too early), and no sea days since we did not know how we would ...
let us begin with boarding, simple straight forward, from arriving at the dock to actually boarding it took no more than 30 minutes, we were on ship having lunch and first cocktail. Our first night was having dinner in La terrazza, food was excellent, house wines were in our opinion for the entire cruise excellent, we have owned a restaurant in Sydney for 15 years, so have good understanding of the ...
I have cruised from Lisbon, on the new Silversea baby, and without any doubt it´s the nicest, most beautiful decorated of the whole company. They have been able to combine the best details of the former ships to create something sublime. There was a long delay on embarkation but it wasn´t Silversea company, but Port of Lisbon inefficient staff, and partly because most passengers came without covid ...
Just returned from an absolutely wonderful 11 night cruise on the Spirit. We had not sailed Siversea in 10 years and will definitely be returning. Our past experience with this line had not been very positive and we switched to Seabourn but decided to try again based on the itinerary and timing near our anniversary.
We embarked in Barcelona, it was qiuick and efficient but not as wrm as ...
In reflecting on our 11 nights aboard the Silver Spirit, I can honestly say we couldn't think of a single thing we would have liked to change. This ship and crew are the epitome of why we sail with Silversea again and again. Every single crew member we encountered was friendly and professional with some being old friends that we were happy to see again.
I personally like the decor of the Spirit ...
We were looking at doing a river cruise to Switzerland and thought it would be a slower pace and more intimate with the area. As I searched, the Silversea came up so I took a look and saw the size of the ships smaller and ports of entry to be "real" and not cruise line manufactured. It listed the guest numbers basically the same as the number of staff members and all rooms were a suite with a ...
This was our third cruise with Silversea. The Muse, as a new ship, was the best ship ever. This is a very ‘happy’ ship. The entire ship sparkled. She is being beautifully maintained by a very dedicated crew. Our cabin was light and roomy, great shower. Butler servic was exemplary...thanks Naia. She met our every need...always with a smile. Dining in three of the many restaurants never ...
I wanted an ultra luxury one week cruise for my first cruise. I travel a lot. Always stay at five star hotels and resorts. Examples include Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton. My Silver Muse experience was five star in every way. I had very high expectations and they were exceeded. I highly recomend Silversea.
The suite I had was superb. As good as any suite at ...
The Silver Muse is a gorgeous ship - if you are looking for 'new' and modern then this is it. The cabins and decks and corridors have a very modern feel which I really liked. The cabins are very spacious and the bathrooms are large (with separate bath no less). Good sized balconies too. We had a night in Barcelona beforehand which was great (can recommend the Ohla hotel ... and try their Sangria ...
