This was the chocolate cake & pineapple opera dessert. It was divine. All the courses were detailed, but this was over-the-top & delicious.

Exceptional in every way.

We considered several other cruise options, but picked Silver Sea for several reasons. 1. the schedule suited our time frame. 2. I like the no tipping policy, although we did leave a gratuity for our cabin butler and his assistant. (their service was too good not to be recognized). I Like the smaller ship ( can't imagine being on a ship with three thousand plus other passengers). 3. However St ...

We sailed the Baltic on Silver Seas, and every thing was outstanding, including the variety, and quality of the food, and entertainment. All of the crew members seemed so happy, and were true professionals. Our butler was outstanding. He took care of our every need, listened to us very carefully, and followed up on everything we needed. The shows were great, and the cooking demonstration, and ...

My daughter and her husband wanted to join us on a Silver sea cruise. We chose the Baltic cruise because of the interesting ports. We loved the cruise and the service from all of the staff was wonderful! We have been on many cruises, on different cruise lines and Siversea is the best by far. The butler service is great and gives us the feeling that we are very special guests. The bartender ...

Friends recommended this cruise line and were on this cruise. I had to go find one of my bags downstairs myself long after all the others were delivered. It was in quarantine because of a Swiss Army knife that I travel with. I wish someone had told me that it was there. I was worried it had been lost. I don't know when it would have been delivered to me. The ship, food, entertainment, ...

GOOD CRUISE - PORTS OF CALL REASON FOR CRUISE

Overall cruise was ok. like the smaller ship, easy to get a table at any of the restuarants. didn't like so many nights that you had to wear a coat. no shorts or jeans after 6:00 in bar was a pain. Tried to be an "above scale" atmosphere which i think hurt the ability to relax after a busy day. no opportunity to just hang out when back from excursions, needed to get cleaned up and get a ...

We were apprehensive about cruising - mainly because of the crowds found on the larger ships. My husband uses a wheelchair and the idea of navigating through crowds was daunting. However, the size of this ship was just perfect for us, as we had discovered on an earlier SilverSea cruise to Alaska. The staff were all very helpful and the accessibility for a power wheelchair user was very good ...

We did an Alaska cruise with Silversea two years ago and really liked the ship and the cruise line, so we went with Silversea again when looking for a Baltic cruise. We were generally satisfied, though there were a few things we would like to see done differently. First, they scheduled the Captain's welcome and the first enrichment lecture during the initial sailout from Stockholm. We didn't ...

Had an amazing experience on Silversea

This was our first time on Silver sea and it was great! We have been on many other cruises before like Seabourn and Regent which are also great but there was something about Silversea that gave that extra touch. The size of the ship was great as it is small, where they dock in St. Petersburg Russia doesn't get any better...right behind the Hermitage. It was like staying at a five star hotel ...

Excellent Baltic Experience

The Silver Whisper is a small luxury ship. It is very well-maintained and kept spotless by the crew. The dining was particularly noteworthy. One of our meals in the main dining room was regarded by a group of experienced travelers as one of the best meals we have had anywhere in the world, and our meals in La Terazza featured pasta that rivals that found anywhere. The sommelier was ...

We wanted to visit countries we had not been to before. We especially wanted to see Saint Petersburg and Stockholm. They did not disappoint and were fascinating. We had previously been on a Seabourn cruise and were told Silversea was comparable. I would give a slight edge to Silversea. The Silver Whisper is a little dated, but overall very comfortable and just the right size for us. The suite was ...
