Spacious and light, a good mid-ship location. Port-side was a good choice for this cruise, as the veranda faced coastline much of the time. The bathroom was larger than I was expecting, with both a roomy shower and a large bathtub, plus a double-sink vanity. The bed and linens were delicious, there were just enough USB ports and charging stations. Temperature was easy to control, although the ship generally was over-air conditioned for my preference. Wonderful experience : Cabin 710
Sail Date: August 2018
The cabin was a good size, with a big walk-in closet and nice bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub separate from the shower. There was a good size sitting area and veranda.

We had this suite the second part of the cruise. Northbound we were in 630. So since this was southbound, the view really didn't differ much from the previous week. Cabin was mirror image, but quick to get used to, and our butler and others got us moved very quickly in Seward. Great cabin for two people, and will have a similar on the Whisper next year. Not huge but big enough for easy living. One of the great features, we have not had one other lines, is a curtain that divides the room - so if I as an early riser gets up I can close the curtain and work on my computer even watch the tv ... Read More

I know it was Veranda in the middle of the ship on deck 6, but I'm not sure of the category. The suite was beautiful. We had a private balcony and a queen bed with a nice sitting area with a sofa, chair and coffee table. The bathroom was a good size as described above in my narrative. The walk in closet had about 8 drawers that were a good size as well as a hanging area and also robes and slippers hanging in it when we arrived. There was a large drawer under the shelf in the closet as well. There is also a refrigerator and your choice of beverages including alcohol brought to your cabin by your butler. Read Less

Cabin quality: Cabin is old & dated compared with Seabourn & Regent ships. We had a shower that leaked water under the shower glass door, and we had to put a small towel onto the floor to stop water running. A minor inconvenience, and we reported it for correction. An old DVD player was there, but we never used it. The old sofa was frayed and well past its use by date. Our Seabourn Quest cabin was a step-up from our Regent Mariner cabin, which is a step-up from the Silver Shadow suite. The Quest was built in 2011, the Silver Shadow in 2000, so quite a difference in age, and it was very obvious. So don’t expect the latest & greatest on Silver Shadow. Read Less

Cabin was worn out. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice with plenty of storage for toiletries. We had to ask for shampoo and soap replacement. The ships usually give you plenty but not on this ship.
