We had an excellent experience with this, our third Viking cruise. We had land-based stays in Shanghai, xian, and Beijing. Viking did a great job of organizing a truly memorable trip. We arranged our own travel because we used our AA miles and flew business class for the 14 1/2 hour non-stop flight.
