This is a very different cruising experience. There were 4000+ Mainland Chinese and 500 non Chinese which created a completely different vibe on the ship.
We had a taxi from our downtown hotel, 45 minutes, 260 yuan on the meter. We were dropped by the check in area,handed in our luggage which we had already tagged and were in our cabin within an hour of being dropped off.

Visiting Shanghai for the F1 Grand Prix and this was my first ever cruise on any ship. I have to say that this ship and cruise is most definitely aimed at Chinese. If you are a European like me, it’s a real eye opener. There are over 1 billion Chinese that have money to spend and Royal Caribbean wants to exploit that market, it’s good business sense.

Great ship in great shape.
Young at heart activities include Wave rider, Skydive and Crane ride.
Internet has been sorted with WiFi all over at reasonable rates and very fast indeed. Major improvement well done RC.
