Wanted to see some of Asia and this one was shown to us.Enjoyed it very much.
Embarkation was a nightmare though , something has to be done about it if a ship leaves Shanghai, no thanks to the Chinese government, we think.
Dining room food leaves a lot to be desired, was disappointing. It was the first time we chose to miss dinner there, at least 5 nights.

Spent 22 days on the Majestic and wish we had not spent a single night on board.
The boarding was hell, the food wasnt very good and the any time dining simply didnt work out. Unless we ate at 5.45 we would have to wait ages for a table even though they werent all full.

The main reason for me to do this cruise was that this ship was going to Vietnam where I was sent in 1967 as a National Serviceman to see the changes in the region I was in and to take my wife. Have cruised with Princess many times and always had a great time. This new ship was built for the Chinese market at it shows. Poorly staffed, beds too hard, boarding process in Shanghai was abysmal.
It did improve as the cruise progressed, but was a really bad start.
