My numerous attempts to speak to management re lack of enforced handwashing/cleaning of handrails etc, fell on deaf ears,

This cruise was its initial cruise from Shanghai to Sydney via Korea, Hong Kong, Nha Trang, Saigon, Singapore, Darwin, Brisbane to Sydney. As an experienced Princess cruiser I was very disappointed at the start, but over 22 days the service improved markedly. Have cruised with Princess many times and always had a great time. This new ship was built for the Chinese market at it shows. Poorly staffed, beds too hard, boarding process in Shanghai was abysmal.
It did improve as the cruise progressed, but was a really bad start.

I will start with the positives - disembarkation at Sydney was fast and efficient. That's the positives taken care of! So now the ship and the cruise!
The ships main problem is too many passengers and not enough public areas - so it is ALWAYS busy and finding a seat is not easy.
