New destinations were the main attraction. The ship is beautifully appointed and spacious. The live shows were excellent but you need to get seated an hour before the show if you want a prime seat. Chose back-to-back-to-back cruises on Majestic Princess (totaling 47 days) due to itinerary and effectively a brand new ship (about 1 year old).

We have sailed on the Royal and loved it. We knew Majestic was different as designed for a Chinese market but did not expect how little was avaliable. The Piasa has 3 bars,most closed at 2200. This ship was completely unprepared for this repositioning cruise from Shanghai to Sydney.
The service in the dining room was the slowest and most incompetant Ive ever experienced.
We had anytime dining, which should have been called queue up and wait a long time.
