This was our first cruise--and we chose it based largely on reviews here and on other sites which gave it high marks for food. We beg to differ. We picked this cruise because we were sailing on the Rotterdam and thought we were getting a good deal booking while sailing. We actually found out that people who booked through and 1st time sailings on HAL got a lot more perks than we did.
