After doing a short 5 day Alaska Trip about 5 years ago we really wanted to see more. This time we flew up to Anchorage and did the train to Seward. Ship: The NCL Jewel did not disappoint. From start to finish this boat looked great. Never once did I see any aging on this ship at all. Our previous cruise was on NCL and in booking a trip to Alaska, we choose it again and were not disappointed. The NCL Jewel was updated last fall and feels like a new ship. Our mini-suite was perfect with a little extra room and full bath.
