Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

The people in the Corporate offices, who have never worked for a cruise line should not be making decisions about the food in the main dining room. Menu is the same every night except for the second to last evening. Gone are the days of lamb shanks, duck & osso bucco. Be prepared for chicken, salmon and NY strip every evening. Which is great but no other variety as in the past. We have ...

We took this cruise to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. We knew this was an older, smaller ship but we liked the itinerary so went with it. While the ship is older and could use updating, it is nevertheless impeccably clean and well maintained. That is one thing you can say for Celebrity....their ships are always immaculately clean! Our veranda cabin was smaller than what I am accustomed ...

Chose this cruise to see more of Alaska since covid postponed it so long and it was on my bucket list.We had 3 generations on this cruise and we all fell in love with Alaska and all would move there if it could be for 4-6 months!!Royal caribbean is def price cutting more with each cruise and unfortunately cruising no longer feels like what it used to and that is so sad.The long times in port and ...

Celebrity Millennium, 7 day southbound Hubbard Glacier from Seward to Vancouver Concierge class cabin 19-26 May 2023 I’d never been on a cruise until 11 months ago and just finished my third. May never reach “105” that the most cruised passenger onboard ship had, but that’s a worthy goal. Booked short notice as the ship was only 50% capacity and got a great offer through Celebrity Blue ...

This cruise was originally planned for August 2020 and of course COVID caused the trip to be pushed out to 2022. After months of worrying about air transportation everything worked out fine. We arrived in Seward a few days prior to boarding, and everything went well. We had not been on any ship since 2019 so we were all excited to do this trip. This was our first time in a Celebrity Suite, and ...

we did a 6 day land tour first then the 7 day cruise. We enjoyed most of the land portion. Our tour guide Jacob and bus driver Penny were excellent. Very knowledgeable of Alaska and Jacob even stopped at grocery stores since our hotel rooms had refrigerators. I would say the only portion of the land that I did not like and I think it would be better was the last day before boarding the ship. We ...

Wanted the itinerary so I chose this cruise and I have been cruising primarily on NCL. On the Jewel the staff makes you feel like family. The entertainment this cruise ( end of Sept) to Alaska was excellent. Stateroom was great and the Jewel was recently renovated. Recognized the Hotel Director Steven as I have cruised on the Jewel a few times previously. The food was good, some menu items ...

Beautiful ship, well appointed. All bars had awesome staff, especially Magnums and O’Shanahons . Specialty restaurants that we picked had wonderful food. We didn’t buy and shore excursions, (too $$$$) but, did do the port shopping experience. Disappointed in daytime entertainment options when we returned to ship. Appreciated the hand sanitizer stations throughout the ship. Best ...
