We chose this cruise to give Regent a try. We do about 4-6 cruises a year on premium and luxury lines (Seabourn, SilverSea, Celebrity, Azamara, Paul Gauguin, etc.). We came with high expectations but they were not met. This is not entirely the fault of Regent Seven Seas but ours in choosing the wrong destination. We have been often on Seabourn, on Silversea and on Crystal so feel able to give a balanced comparison.
First off the ship was new, clean and well maintained. As a piece of equipment it couldnt be faulted. So the ship is nice.
