Nice Boat but no Internet in Room
"The biggest problem for me was the lack of Internet- there was absolutely no service in my room. The price is high but it includes business class airfare- however, the business class air fare does not include seat assignments and we were not together on the flight even though I had picked my seats with Regent Air...."Read More

Consider Another Cruise Line First

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We were on the recent ill-fated cruise that had to return to port due to mechanical difficulties. Earlier in the cruise, we had already identified shortcomings in cabin cleaniness, mediocre food, and lame excursions that were very disappointing (we did not travel to that distance to be "treated" to a tour of a golf course, taken to markets but not given any time to shop and told that we couldn't ...

Disappointing Experience Aboard the Regent Voyager

I recently embarked on a voyage from Lisbon to Barcelona aboard the Regent Voyager, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the staff aboard the ship were undeniably friendly and attentive, the overall condition of the vessel and the handling of unexpected situations left a lot to be desired. Let's start with the accommodations. My wife and I stayed in a suite on the 8th ...

Fantastic crew and ports but a couple negatives as well

We mostly chose this cruise for the amazing itinerary. Iceland, Norway, Shetland Islands, Amsterdam and Bruges Belgium which did not disappoint. The crew was absolutely amazing, they just couldn’t do enough for us and we’re always asking if there was anything else we needed or wanted. Many knew our names a drink preferences by the third day. We were treated like royalty. Voyager is 23 years old ...

Fantastic holiday - vegan food needs a little work

We have cruised many times before - but this was a step up for us in terms of quality ( and price ) but the all inclusive fare was brilliant . Compared to other cruise experiences I think what you are paying for is space - both in the suite which was a really good size ( and the first time we had more storage than we needed for clothes ) , but also in the public areas where we never had to wait ...

Regent is no longer unrivaled

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We have been sailing with Regent for close to 20 years. It appears Regent is in a slow decline and is becoming more like its bigger ships in the Norwegian cruise company. This last cruise is the first time I noticed food was being reheated from previous days. Normally their leek tart is fresh and creamy with a flakey crust. On several occasions the tart was clearly reheated and the crust ...

Third Class Not 5-Star

This was a memorial cruise following the deaths of both of our parents. I went with my sister, brother and his wife. We paid $40,000 for the two cabins on the Regent SS Voyager for the trip from Barcelona to Lisbon. June 25 to July 2, 2023. It was not the top quality we had paid for. It was quite disappointing 1. Lack of communications and zero organization regarding flight check ins and ...

Too much wrong and Management didn't care

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We had been attracted to the itinerary of the West Africa coast as this seemed a good opportunity to see less-visited places. The missed ports were a disappointment, not least because of the flimsy and conflicting excuses and messages offered by ship management. Arguably, had we managed to dock there, these would have been yet another disappointment because almost all of the ship excursions ...

Disappointing

I have sailed on 10 plus different lines including Crystal, Azamara, Silver Seas and Seabourn. I really expected Regent to be even better. Instead, it was significantly less good. The service was wanting. Our cabin steward kept failing to stock our refrigerator with requested soft drinks and failed to put the cushions on our deck chairs. At dinner in the main dining room, it sometimes took an ...

Two port cancellations, horrible tours, and poor on-board service: not Regent’s usual excellence

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We chose this cruise because of the destinations, principally destinations on the west coast of Africa that are otherwise difficult to visit. Most of the passengers appear to be very well travelled, and those to whom we spoke talked of choosing this cruise because of the destinations, including the Cape Verde Islands, Senegal, The Gambia, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, São Tomé, and ...

Great adventure with a perfect post-cruise double safari

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

User Avatar

We took this cruise for two reasons, we needed to spend cruise credits that Regent would not extend beyond 12/31 and there was a post-cruise safari at the end. We were not disappointed. In fact, for my husband, it was the trip of a lifetime. Seven Seas Voyager is a luxury ship and Regent is doing well in getting things back on track post-COVID. The ship is older, so in some ways not as nice as ...
