Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We chose this cruise as a 70 birthday present to each other. 26 night cruise including the Amazon. Booked a conceige cabin, so had a pre- cruise hotel. Lovely room but stuck in a residential area, long queue to check and poor luke warm breakfast. Never had such a long wait to board, even had a wait to even join the queue. The poorest standard cabin, I have had on a cruise ship. Cracked, chipped ...

Huge Disappointment

When we arrived at Barbados there was chaos with the ground agents who didn’t seem to know who was going to which hotel for the first night stay. Luggage was being put into various vans and guests were put on minibuses and after quite a while we set off for the hotel. We were concerned about the luggage as on a previous Regent cruise our luggage had been lost! We arrived at the Accra Beach ...

We choose this cruise because of the destination, itinerary and the small size ship. I will start the positive experience saying that the staff was amazing and so serviceminded. They really made this cruise. Public areas: Very nice ambience and nicely decorated but a bit dated. Suit - concierge: Also very nice except for the very dated bathroom. We had a leaking toilet which resulted in ...

We were first time REGENT cruisers, although we have cruised MANY times before on Celebrity, Princess, Azamarra, etc......This was a 18-night "Panama Canal" cruise that started in SF on July 20 and ended up in Miami.on Aug 7. Ship was very small and intimate, nicely refurbished. Cabin was VERY large and very well designed, but we were on the 8th deck in Cabin 868 and the vibrations from the ...

Regent Really Disappoints

First, let me say we WERE loyal Regent cruisers and have introduced two other couples to the Regent experience. This time, we were disappointed and embarrassed because Regent's charm and allure has gone downhill. We spent almost $12,000 for this 10-day cruise and frankly, that was too much money for what we got in return. First of all, the Navigator was shabby and threadbare in many areas. The ...

Some problems need to be addressed

As background, this is probably my 35th cruise or so over the last 30 years. The level has spanned from Crystal to Oceania, Princess, Windstar, NCL, and a few others I've forgotten or don't exist anymore. Looking for an upscale cruise this time for our 30th, but a smaller ship than Crystal, we booked this Regent cruise. I'd like to be able to comment more on the quality of food, etc., but on day ...

We have cruised on Regent multiple times and have enjoyed every prior cruise. We have cruised with our TA and met many wonderful posters from this and other boards. We are big Regent fans but noticed considerable decline in this sailing experience. We felt let down in terms of service and the quality of provisioning on this trip. Perhaps some of the problems can be attributed to this being the ...
