Dumped on departure day, lower standards, still great staff
"Previously we would have been taken to a reasonable hotel, the beach club was horrible ,not what was paid for and way below any cruiseline standard never mind a six star line The entertainment on ship apart from the usual singer/dancers was rubbish, a puppet show the theatre highlight one night.Prime 7 , just not up to previous standard ,T bone steak had hardly any fillet and full of sinew, staff shown and again v sorry, end of meal petit fours changed to one little chocolate with jam in...."Read More

We have done several Regent Seven Seas cruise but this was the first on their oldest and smallest ship. Other reviews on the ship have not always been favourable but we found the ship in very good condition and the facilities and service levels fully up to previous Regent standards. - and really liked the small number of passengers (490). We had a suite in the rear, and the ship does vibrate a bit ...

Great Expectations Not Met

We chose this cruise/cruise line because RSSC has a great reputation, people recommended it; and we've never been to most of the ports. The ship: old, but beautifully updated. Nothing was dirty or stained or worn. Very clean. From public spaces to rooms. Nice touch the walk-in closet. I'm not sure any other cruise line offers this. Butler service was great but we found we really ...

We have sailed many times with Regent. ALWAYS STANDARDS HAVE BEEN HIGH BUT NOT SO MUCH ON THIS CRUISE. still great staff BUT the organisation re travel was lousy. Forced to fly via Heathrow both ways when direct flights available, dumped on day of departure in a beach club that was 1 star and over crowded to a level that was crazy. Put on a minibus with 10 passengers plus all luggage, crammed in ...

This was our third cruise on Navigator and we knew what to expect. Enough has been written about the condition of the ship, but she is going to drydock in March for rehab. I felt the ship was in pretty good shape considering. We booked this ship and itinerary because there really isn't much choice in the small ship market in the Caribbean. We really need the smallest ship possible for our ...

Excellent experience. All inclusive. Great choices for included tours. Food and entertainment very good, service excellent and well done. On our cruise, mostly 50 plus well to do folks, no children.. Also 50 percent non USA, mostly Great Britain. Excellent lectures. Only down side is that ship needs a redo as it is looking a little tired. Very friendly attentive staff. Small ship 450 folks ...

How dare this ship class it's self as 6 star. The first hotel Regency put us prior to embarking the ship was. the Hyatt in Miami, I would not put my dog in there. We where left on the curb side for 3 hours while the luggage was being put on coaches, nobody had a clue what was going on including the Rep. We got on the ship eventually, disappointing , stained carpets, a burger for lunch, red ...

We returned from an amazing time on board the Navigator. Service, quality of food/presentation as well as our new-found friends made this a wonderful experience. Embarkation as well as disembarkation were flawless. Our suite was well equipped with a stand up shower and tub, large walk-in closet, plenty of storage as well as complimentary binoculars which allowed us to witness right off our ...

We returned from our Navigator cruise on the 28th. Fabulous time! I have many comments to share: 1. We were on Deck 8, suite 850. Perfect location as the elevator/stairs were just steps away. Very little vibration. Our friends were in suite 852 so we had engineering remove the partition between our balcony. 2. Brought seasick patches. Glad we did as the first two sea days were a little tough ...

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary on the Regent Navigator . Our BA flight to Miami was uneventful , almost enjoyable . Once we had cleared Border Control my wife and I expected to be collected by the Regent agent , along with all the other cruise representatives . The Regent representative was nowhere to be seen . After negotiating a steep downhill slope to a lower ...

Surpassed our high expectations

My husband and I are experienced cruisers, (from NJ, a'reddy) and we are always skeptical of photos and blurbs in cruise brochures. This trip, post-op for me, we were seeking a small, relaxed ship with congenial passengers, gracious crew, a minimum of in-your-face "fun-fun-fun!" and a variety of intelligent shore excursions. The Regent Navigator experience offered all of this and so much more that ...
