Not a luxury experience

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

This was our first Regent cruise. We have previously sailed with Viking,Virgin, Celebrity, Holland, MSC, NcL and Carnival mostly in suites. We are childless couple in our sixties and started cruising in 2018. We are active and enjoy great food and drink. We always enjoy ourselves. This cruise was disappointing from the very start. The ship is older but not well maintained. The crew was ...

Let me first state that the previous commenter did not exaggerate at all. As a matter of fact he was kind to give our cruise a two rating, but I stand by my one rating. We are Platinum member of the RSS Society, with many wonderful cruises and experiences with this cruise line. We are only 40 days away from Titanium level. And we have booked 3 future cruises with Regent. That said, we loved ...

Dead in the water

This cruise was the worse. Can you believe the ship actually shut down and no power at 3a. No word from the Bridge, nothing for 4 hours. And then a pathetic apology and nothing more. Breakfast was only cold food and coffee was delayed by an hour. This was totally glossed over by the ship and crew. Cabin was well worn and certainly not worth the cost. Many stains on the bathroom floor. ...

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly

We took this cruise because of the ports and the unique itinerary, sailing from Miami to Montreal. We were excited because the excursions were included, so we didn’t have to arrange them ourselves. Before the ship left Miami, the Great Stirrup Cay port was cancelled, as well as Fernandina Beach, and Freeport, Bahamas and Jacksonville, FL were substituted. Freeport was a rundown port, and the ...

NOT WORTH IT EVEN AT 90% OFF THE COST

We had not sailed with Regent since the covid outbreak. This was our 5th sailing with them, second time on the Navigator. We were shocked. Every Luxury, high end detail had been lowered, from the wine, liquor (did not even have everyday liquors, like Grand Marnier in stock), to the food. All management on board would listen to your complaints and problems, said they would take care of it, ...

Beyond Disappointed!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

This was our first time on Regent and it will be our last. The original cruise that we wanted filled up, so we chose this cruise based on Regent's reputation for being an "ultra Luxury" cruise line and we like the smaller ships. The Navigator: This ship was built in the early 1990's. It's loud and vibrates 24/7. I assume from the age, that it doesn't have the newest technology as far as ...

We have traveled on Regent for 72 nights, this cruise will be our last. The Good: food and drinks. We had great service from Trish and Jackson at Compass Rose. The Bad: the service at Sette Mari. Got a table on night five, place was packed. After over an hour waiting for our main dished, waiter let us know the food was on the way. The lamb chops were very over done. At that point we were ...

Worse cruise ever; not worth the money

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

Chose this cruise because of previous reviews& wanting to try an upscale cruise. Extremely disappointed due to cancelation of excursions even before encountering Fiona! This ship may have been renovated recently but that did not prevent two backups of our shower within our 11 day stay. There was confusion among staff, lots of them around but not much getting done! There is a lack of supervision as ...

Regent Cruise Line Actively Discourages People with Disabilities

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

I have been a long time Regent cruiser and was concerned about the quality of service after the takeover by Norwegian. In October my wife and I took a 10-day cruise to Canada and then Bermuda. We found the staff as warm and friendly as in the past and the food was at least as good. The entertainment was moderate as I expect on a small ship, but the performers were enthusiastic. But… My wife ...
