Clean but - balcony was in a state of disrepair. It really needed some paint and repair. Air vent in bathroom fell out in the middle of the night with a clatter. We were always looking for toilet paper. They would only bring one roll at a time. Read entire member review >>
Large, comfortable , with quality bed and bedding, and plenty of storage space. There was a generous sized sofa and large desk The bathroom had both tub and shower, but we hated the Occitan toiletries... Normally I love this brand, but the sea themed products seemed harsh. Each year I go for location instead of level. I've gone from a Concierge to an E over four years. This was the best spot since we were on the same floor as most of the desks, entertainment and lounges. The room size is the same, so we think that choosing for location over class is better and saves money.
Bathrooms are wonderful, although the shower controls were very confusing. The decor was lovely and the beds were great. We slept very well. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was very nice - the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space, large closet (just needed more hangers). Bathroom spacious and clean, shower strong enough. TV and DVD player worked well, favorite station was cruise info with soft rock music. There is a blackout curtain, close the mid-room curtain as well for more noise reduction, the balcony gets a bit squeaky in rougher water.
Good temperature control. Steward service was excellent but we really didn't need anything other than hangers when we arrived. Read entire member review >>
Cabins: We had a series of 7 cabins on the aft of deck 9. There is some vibration, but only one person in our group had any trouble with it at all! The rest of us slept like babies. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious for a cruise. The bathroom and closet are almost as large a a regular hotel room. We had suites with verandas, which I recommend, as it is so nice to throw open the door and breath in the lovely fresh air. Read entire member review >>
This is a Deluxe Suite (not Concierge). Like our 'suite' on Mariner last year it was spacious, with a huge walk-in closet, dividing curtains between bed and lounge area and bed and bathroom. Balcony was same size, too but with non-reclining seats --- a pity. We experienced noise from the balcony area on our first night (very rough sea), but this was quickly put right with a wedge inserted under the balcony door by the ship's 'carpenters'. Other than this, a very quiet cabin. Read entire member review >>
This is a lovely, spacious starboard cabin, conveniently located on the deck with reception, the library, the navigator lounge, etc. and only one deck up from the main dining room. It is also quiet, and Gedde, our steward on this sailing, was great. The bath is huge, with both a shower and separate tub, and storage throughout the cabin is excellent. Reading lights, curtains to separate the TV/sitting area from the sleeping area, and plenty of good outlets--to say nothing of the well-lit vanity--are all lovely to have. My one caution about this cabin is its forward location: If anyone in your party is motion-sensitive, and seas reach a fairly moderate six-feet or more (unusual where we were in the Caribbean) a suite located more mid-ship will rock less. We loved the size of our cabin. Very large and well appointment. Everything was in top shape and working condition, however the room could use a bit of a modernization in the colors and bed linens. The pillow was also very very soft, but it was my fault for never asking to change it for something a bit more firm. Read entire member review >>
Spacious cabin with good size balcony. Very well thought out with plenty of storage space, a large closet, and a great bathroom with both a shower and a tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. Read entire member review >>
Very spacious with a sitting room and couch. The TV could use more channels and was hard to use. The room had a walk in closet with plenty of hangers and drawers for storage. The mini fridge was well stocked and fresh fruit was in the room each morning, a nice touch. The cabin man did an excellent job of keeping the room clean. Read entire member review >>
Navigator, suite 729 is great. You are mid ship, which is important, forward of the elevators, but close enough to them to get anywhere in the ship quickly. You are convenient to the public spaces, such as the library, computer room, espresso bar, gift shop. Read entire member review >>
Cabins are nicely appointed and larger than most veranda rooms. Veranda is very small--5'x10'. But using the word "suite" is a bit of an overstatement. Bathroom tub had a hand held shower nozzle but no enclosure or curtain. Hence it could not be used as a shower. So if you want to shower, the small corner enclosure is only choice. Cabin 809- recurring squeaking, clicking and other noises due to the heavy seas (well beyond that of a normal cabin in a cruise ship at sea). Good location, great space and usage of space. The air conditioning seemed too cold unless we put it almost to the top heat setting. Read entire member review >>
We were in Delux Suite E 712 and the location was fine. The room was spacious and well appointed. The only negative was that we were locked out on our balcony early one morning and had to be rescued by security. I'm not sure if this was due to a design flaw in general or just a problem with this balcony door. Read entire member review >>
Quiet. Amazing amount of room for a standard cabin. Great storage. Full size tub and separate shower. Able to pull draperies to separate bedroom area from sitting area to minimize daylight if wanted. Read entire member review >>
We just loooove our little stateroom. It's in the centre of the ship, and has a balcony but is one of the smallest on the ship. It's perfectly formed without feeling cramped, and is much nicer than most hotel rooms. There are beautiful wood fittings everywhere, the walk-in closet is gorgeous, so is the desk and shelves. The curtains are sumptuous. The bathroom is marble, with a shower AND bath. I expected to have to make some sacrifices for space, but it's beautiful, just beautiful. And I love the balcony, and sat out there to meditate or just watch the waves go by. Read entire member review >>
Absolute Largest walkin closet of any cruise line, Balcony is large and comfortable for 2 people to lay out on. Cabins are well insulated against outside noise. Independent A/C controls work great. Seperate shower and bath are very roomy. All Marble counters are a classy touch, all rooms now have a flat pannel TV with DVD player. only negative thing I can say is there were little to no hangers in the closet, I was unaware I needed to bring my own. There was a very slight odor of stale air or mold that I think was coming from the shower area. Read entire member review >>
