We did the Barcelona-to-Rome cruise leaving Barcelona April 2018 and had a great time. The room sizes are far better than any others we have seen, and include a walk-in closet and spacious bathroom--not amenities you normally find on a cruise ship. We spent three days in Venice, prior to embarkation. Embarkation took less than fifteen minutes and then a pleasant lunch at La Veranda. We were in our room by 2:30. Very nice room with plenty of closet space and a butler who could answer any question and solve most problems.

The fact that the Regent Seven Seas Explorer was a new ship was nice but we chose this cruise for the itinerary - Istanbul to Israel via the Greek Isles and Egypt but mostly for the Egypt portion which was 2 ports.
