Wanted an accessible getaway with no flight required...and this worked. Pleasantly surprised and loved the smaller ship. The food could have been hotter but that's about the only real thing that was noteable. Some meals outshined others...but we had no complaints....the buffet was a buffet -with a ton of options and the other venues were quite good.. Chefs dinner was phenomenal. We did use room ...

Accessible accommodations were very good

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Sailing to Bermuda for our 40th wedding anniversary. We were unexpectedly treated to a special cake at the Chef's Table dinner one night. Meals were very good, and the specialty restaurants were fantastic! The main dining room was good, with a buffet offered at breakfast, as well as the order off the menu. The main buffet offered a wide variety, from salad to pizza to Indian and Chinese food. ...

My kids sailed with 2400 grandparents and had a blast!

We got to embarkation on the early side and waited in a line at the port for a little bit, but once it got moving, the process went quickly. The first thing we noticed was there were a lot of retirees. Always the best part...we see them and smile, they see our kids and become skittish. (They always realize we have great kids. It just takes them a bit to come around!) Our room was 3076 and it ...

We did the seven day New England itinerary with ports at St John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Bar Harbor and Portland, Maine. Our cabin 3576 was tended by Gede, great caring, very quiet, good location and Gede kept us tidy and neat. We opted for late dining our wait staff was Grace and Omar. No complaints at all. Felt the selections on the menu were very adequate and the food was ...

Bermuda bound from Boston

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Embarkation was a breeze, Boston had improved the process tremendoulsly. Although the ship is looking a little tired, she is still beautiful. We had great weather with rain only one day on the way home for 15 minutes in the morning. Rocking seas on way down made for the solarium pool to become a carnival ride if you dared to enter. Our room was a balcony near the forward of the ship. Great ...

This experience was unlike my first experience on RCL

We chose the cruise for the departure city, as well as the destination and the schedule. Not to mention RCL was my favorite line and we would be the only ship in dock. We arrived on time at the port in Boston and getting on the ship was fairly quick and easy. The ship was beautiful and easy to navigate, we had "scored" one of the newly created ultra large ocean view cabins on the deck 7. ...

My hubby and I just returned from a New England/Canada cruise on Serenede of the Seas. We had a wonderful week leaving from Boston and going to Portland, Bar Harbor, St. John and Halifax. Serenede is a wonderful ship just the right size. Not too big to get lost and not too small that it never felt croweded. Our favorite places on the ship were the Schooner bar and Safari Club. I loved the ...

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our cruise. All of the personnel that we dealt with, from our cabin steward to our restaurant staff were wonderful to deal with. We had a wonderful time at all of the activities, but most especially the 80's Dance Party. Our weather was perfect. We feel that the food was not always at a high standard (i.e., occasionally not as hot as it could have been ...

12 day repositioning cruise from Boston to Fort Lauderdale ~ I loved the Itinerary, food, shows, dancing, pool games and lobster night. Ideal balcony cabin on deck 10, lots of storage and one deck below pool and buffet. The staff in Reflections MDR was outstanding at dinner and reminiscent of days gone by. Zhelu and Oksana made our dining most enjoyable. The Windjammer Buffet was also very ...

Annual trek to Boston for the Beantown to Beaches reposition sailing. Ship is showing wear BUT the crew moral is fantastic and doing its best to be SURE the passengers are given exceptional service. The addition of lifeguards are a welcome sight as too many parents do not watch their children closely enough. This was evident on this sailing as a tyke even interrupted the main dining room kitchen ...
