Cabin was size as expected, did not like local it is only 3 doors from the back of the ship. The cabwas very noisy but not enough to disturb us. The best thing was we had the best room steward ever! Read More

This was a low point of cruise. Room was clean. Bed was not acceptable. We doubled the comforter bed topper and the wife slept on top of that to level and soften the mattress. We requested an egg carton style foam mattress topper but our room steward said Royal discontinued there use due to bed bug transmission issues. We used 2 regular blankets to sleep under as the comforter was under the wife for padding. WE requested the room be made up daily between 8:30 to 10:30. many times it was not made up till after 1:00. Room steward was a nice guy, maybe overwhelmed with too many rooms to do. We are D+ and know the room stewards are overwhelmed at times. Read Less

This interior room was kept so very clean and tidy. The location was perfect and we felt very little rolling of the seas here. Darkness in the morning really adds to the quality of sleep. Read More

Clean and comfy. Standard inside state room with two pullan beds. I find it OK for a family of 4 (2 adults and 9 year old twins) as we don't really spend time in the room, and the time we did, you easily make do. A standard hotel room doesn't give you much more anyways. We find the value worth it and rather spend the money on excursions than upgrade the cabin for a small amount of room. Perhaps on an Alaskan cruise or Mediterranean cruise where you may use a balcony given the sites it would be worth it, but for this European cruise, you don't see much as you cruise around the Baltic, and not worth it. I booked late and went with a guy from our group who was looking for a roommate. He had reserved an inside cabin and I was cool with that thinking the darkness would help me sleep. The cabin was fine in all respects EXCEPT the air quality. My roommate and I were immediately stuffed up with super dry and sore throats. This affliction was remedied within a couple days of leaving the ship. I don't know if it was just the dry air or if there was mold in the HVAC system but it was awful. Towards the end of the voyage I hung wet towels in from of the vent with little improvement to our suffering. Prior to going on this inaguaral cruise I'd already booked a second one this December on the Celebrity Millenium from Singapor to Hong Kong. This cabin has a balcony and I'll be bringing a piece of wood to jam the door open. Read Less

The cabin was good, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. The carpeting was in good condition. The bathroom had some small cracks and gouges and a sewer smell sometimes as did the hallway. Our cabin steward was great. Read More
