We set off on the World Cruise. Pros: Gorgeous, Great Itinerary, a + for staying late in ports, Nice staff, The garden theming and bird chirps around the indoor pool are amazing Cons: The steak is the worst steak Ive ever had on a ship. Rubbery in textture and salted to the max.It is so bad that the only meat I eat is the Roast Beef. - Shame on the World Cruise for not converting an area ...

We chose this cruise because it was available when we "needed" a break from the holiday craziness to relax and recoup. Before I start I must say that these older smaller ships are my favorite. The crew is always so friendly and attentive even though they have made some cutbacks. They always take time to smile and greet everyone they come across. At least that has always been my experience. ...

Wanted a Holiday sailing out of Tampa this fit the criteria. This being an older ship I was very surprised and happy at her lovely spaces. The crew were the stand out stars, except for guest relations go figure. We would sail her again tomorrow if we could. We were in a suite and the Suite concierge Christian Dellosa had elevated attention to detail. The lively Pinnacles shared our lounge and ...

After reading several opines on this trip I decided to add my humble one also. We ere 7 adults and 4 children, RC experience range from Diamond Plus for PaPa and Grandma to RC newbies, with a few Disney cruises under their belt, so here it goes. Embarkation security was slow and awkward, once to the RC line all went well. Our cabin steward met us and all was fine for the rest of the ...

Having just returned from 7 nights on the Serenade of the Seas, there are a few areas that could use improvements. This was my first experience with " my time dining" and proved out to work well. We were able to book the same table and wait staff and time for every night. I do find the menu needs some updating. We did dine at Chops and Giovanni's table, of the two I prefer Gionanni's table. Ate ...

We started out with a Pre-Cruise at Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome in New Orleans. We can enthusiastically recommend this hotel if you are staying there. We found the service, friendliness of the staff and the rooms were all excellent! EMBARKATION- This was a breeze. We had priority boarding, but it didn't seem to make a difference. It was very well organized. CABIN- The cabin was well ...

We were originally scheduled to sail on this cruise on Jan 24 with 4 other couples. Our cabin was one of 150 or so that were cancelled at the last minute due to water pipe break/electrical failure in front of ship. This part was not well handled or well communicated by RCCL - we grade them a FAIL for this part (unrelated to this review, though). We flew home after waiting 6 hrs at the dock. We ...

I am going to start my review off by admitting that our experience may have been less than optimal as a result of the fact that we were the last cruise before the Christmas cruise. My wife and I have been cruising for almost a decade now and we have been cruising with Royal Caribbean for the majority of our cruises. Unfortunately, this was one of our worst Royal Caribbean experiences. The ...

This was my 3rd cruise, the other two Carnival. I'm going to break this down into sections. Parking: Horrible. Not enough spaces and no shuttle service to the docks like Carnival offers. Embarkation / Debarkation - Fabulous, especially Debarkation. We were off the ship in 30 minutes and on the highway driving home! That is incredible. Service: Fabulous. Everyone on board was super nice and ...

My Husband and I went on a Royal Caribbean " Serenade of the sea's" this time instead of the Carnivals we were on before ( Carnival Fascination and Carnival Conquest) Well we thought we would try a total different ship. We were very Disappointed and very Upset.. First the Bedrooms were very small, so was the bathrooms.. Showers? We laughed at. There were several large people on this ship, we ...
