It has been 10+ years since I been to CoCo Cay as a teenager with the family, It is Amazing what Royal Caribbean has done to the island. As for the ship itself, pretty nice one to catch out of Tampa, it has a little something for everyone for the most part. Pros + Chops Grill was great, best steak I have had in a long time. + The pizza from the Windjammer was pretty good for buffet ...

Spring cruise with our family

We cruised on Serenade of the Seas out of Tampa, Florida, on a one week cruise where there were four destinations, all in the Bahamas: Grand Bahama Island, Coco Cay, Bimini and Nassau. The ship was fully booked as the cruise occurred during spreak break, so there were many families with children. We cruised with our son, daughter in law and three year old grandson. Our cabins were adjacent, ...

Great parking through 241 by Global Airport Parking right across the street from the cruise terminal. Short wait outside terminal, once inside we walked right on the ship within 10 minutes. The ship is well maintained throughout. The crew were phenomenal, motivated, friendly, helpful. I was very impressed with the food in all dining areas. Food seemed extra good for example the bran muffins were ...

I chose this cruise because it was a unique itinerary going to Bimini and Grand Bahama and I love the Radiance Class and haven't sailed yet on Serenade. The crew were all very friendly and the ship had a new feel to it, very clean. Windjammer was better than expected, selection vast and prepared with tasty flavor. Dining room food and service were perfect, everything was served promptly and ...

Great ship and crew… except for the fog delay on disembarkation

Loved visiting all of the Bahamas ports. Bimini was a beautiful beach stop. Did the Jeep tour in Nassau and had a fun time. Food was great. Cruise director Jamie is a hoot! Loved the 70’s disco party. Ship is smaller than the mega ships but she’s beautiful and well maintained. We had the best service in the main dining room and a wonderful lunch at Izumi. Highly recommend Izumi and I don’t eat ...

RCL Serenade of the Seas-October 25 – 30--departing from Tampa Review for Cruise Critic: RCL Serenade of the Seas Glass, glass, everywhere! What we especially like about the Serenade was all the windows throughout the public areas wonderful for ocean watching – even from a set of elevators. There is also a true fully around the ship promenade deck on which you can actually get out to ...

This was my second cruise, the first one was for my 1st anniversary 12 years ago, and now this one with my husband and the kids (ages 10 & 8). I was a bit reluctant at first with the thought of being confined to a small space with the kids for a week, boy was I ever wrong! We arrived in New Orleans a couple days early to have a pre-vacation and see the city which was a great start to the ...

Serenade March 7th Un-Review

I’m not going to call this a review, because I’m really going to try to keep this one short…difficult for me at best, and it may prove impossible…we’ll see. A little about us…this was our 23rd cruise – our 10th with Royal Caribbean, and we’ve also cruised on Princess, HAL, Celebrity, and Carnival. We cruise without children, so the children’s club and family activities aren’t important to us. ...

Easy to navigate

Serenade of the Seas is one of the easiest ships to navigate. I never got lost the whole cruise. I'm not really sure what made this ship so easy....was it the well placed elevators, was it the touch screens on each floor, was it being able to see every floor from the atrium, was it being able to go front to back on all floors? The planners of this ship certainly had me in mind when they ...

This was our 3rd cruise, but the first one in 7 yrs and the first one that was just me and my husband. We drove to New Orleans and were a little concerned about the overflow parking area, as it doesn't seem very secure and it is in an open field, but we did come back to find that we still had a car and all 4 tires/wheels :). The cruise was wonderful and just what we were looking for....rest and ...
