Great ship and crew… except for the fog delay on disembarkation

Loved visiting all of the Bahamas ports. Bimini was a beautiful beach stop. Did the Jeep tour in Nassau and had a fun time. Food was great. Cruise director Jamie is a hoot! Loved the 70’s disco party. Ship is smaller than the mega ships but she’s beautiful and well maintained. We had the best service in the main dining room and a wonderful lunch at Izumi. Highly recommend Izumi and I don’t eat ...

Some good, but overall it fell well short of expectations. Avoid this ship and probably RC altogether.

My family of 7 booked this cruise about a year ago and were really looking forward to it. We got a 2-bedroom suite and all 7 of us stayed there together. Room number was 8668. We paid about $5,500. Family consists of two adults, and 5 kids, ages ranging from 10-15. Two were un-vaccinated due to age (vaccine was not authorized for their age at the time) 5 night cruise was originally on ...

RCL Serenade of the Seas-October 25 – 30--departing from Tampa Review for Cruise Critic: RCL Serenade of the Seas Glass, glass, everywhere! What we especially like about the Serenade was all the windows throughout the public areas wonderful for ocean watching – even from a set of elevators. There is also a true fully around the ship promenade deck on which you can actually get out to ...

Royal Caribbean changed our destination from Cozumel to Coco Cay without any notification one month before embarkation. Not only that but I bought an excursion for Cozumel and they didn’t refund my money. This was our first and last cruise on Royal Caribbean. We were so mad and didn’t find out we were not going to Cozumel until after the ship left port. There was nothing but one show per day in ...

WE CHOOSE THIS CRUISE TO CELEBRATE OUR 20 ANNIVERSARY, , This was a cruise leased by Royal Caribbean, and that's why we took it because we have traveled 5 times with them and we know their service. The process of boarding very cooperative, lunch ok, dinner was without reservation very fast the attention of the waiters excellent as always, very attentive. There was no package of drinks ...

After reading several opines on this trip I decided to add my humble one also. We ere 7 adults and 4 children, RC experience range from Diamond Plus for PaPa and Grandma to RC newbies, with a few Disney cruises under their belt, so here it goes. Embarkation security was slow and awkward, once to the RC line all went well. Our cabin steward met us and all was fine for the rest of the ...

This was my second cruise, the first one was for my 1st anniversary 12 years ago, and now this one with my husband and the kids (ages 10 & 8). I was a bit reluctant at first with the thought of being confined to a small space with the kids for a week, boy was I ever wrong! We arrived in New Orleans a couple days early to have a pre-vacation and see the city which was a great start to the ...

Having just returned from 7 nights on the Serenade of the Seas, there are a few areas that could use improvements. This was my first experience with " my time dining" and proved out to work well. We were able to book the same table and wait staff and time for every night. I do find the menu needs some updating. We did dine at Chops and Giovanni's table, of the two I prefer Gionanni's table. Ate ...

I’m not going to call this a review, because I’m really going to try to keep this one short…difficult for me at best, and it may prove impossible…we’ll see. A little about us…this was our 23rd cruise – our 10th with Royal Caribbean, and we’ve also cruised on Princess, HAL, Celebrity, and Carnival. We cruise without children, so the children’s club and family activities aren’t important to us. ...

Easy to navigate

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Serenade of the Seas is one of the easiest ships to navigate. I never got lost the whole cruise. I'm not really sure what made this ship so easy....was it the well placed elevators, was it the touch screens on each floor, was it being able to see every floor from the atrium, was it being able to go front to back on all floors? The planners of this ship certainly had me in mind when they ...
