Not so much of the Royal
"We chose this cruise because of the destination, the weather, and the time. However we had never sailed with Royal Caribbean before, but we hoped it would be like P and O. How wrong could we be...... I have..."Read More

DO NOT BOOK any cruise with Costa! I have never experienced a company before that care so little for their customers. I should have known that it was going to be bad. Before we even set sail they were impossible to contact. They do not answer the phone or reply to any emails. All I wanted was some information, apparently even that is too much for them! They ship's decor is ugly and old. Do ...

We choose this ship for the iternary but it was awful. The food was really bad, the dining room was like a cafe and none of the food was very hot. We had a balcony room which was much smaller than other cruise lines and there was a fault with all balcony doors on our side of the ship (port) they wouldn't open. The steward showed us how you had to bash the top of the door before it would ...

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. It went to places I have never been before. Have travelled on other cruise lines, but this was the worst ever. Seating in the restaurant was tables for 4 all in a long line, like a cheap cafe. We soon learned not to order beef as it was always tough. Most of the food was really unappetising, & obviously leftovers used. The classic example of this was leek ...

We are from the UK, in our 50's and have done over 50 cruises. We usually go with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, Cunard. A few with P&O. However we had never tried MSC and so decided to do this. Biggest mistake I have made in my life. To anyone who like us are thinking of doing an MSC cruise - don't !. To those who are planning to return, based on our experience I can only wonder why. I ...

My travel agent finally found an affordable trip to the UAE. It all went downhill from there. The dining options were minimalistic. There was only 1 option for dining other than the buffet. I was on a special low-sodium diet. The meals were plain and EXTREMELY bland. I don't think the chef had ever heard of chicken stock, and definitely had no concept of herbs or spices. It was an Italian ...

The worst cruise line ever! Rude and unprofessional staff in every department. The self serve Restaurant was always packed and we often had to wait for a table and the counters were also so busy that we had to wait in long lines for the most unappetising food I have ever had the misfortune to eat !! The desserts were the same every day, both at lunch and dinner. In the main restaurant it was awful ...

I took a last minute cruise to Dubai, sailing on 13th January 2018. Having completed the online paperwork, we had to fill in more forms at Port Rachid. We boarded and were informed our room would be available at 11 am. First impressions were good. Our cabin 1002 was clean, although there was little In the way of toiletries and no sunbed towels in our cabin. From then on things went downhill, ...

1. We had an over night flight to Dubai and arrived to the Port Rashid at 12.00, the reception asked us to whait another 3 hours till 15.00 to let us in to the ship, so we forst to sleap at ports metal bench as homless!!! Is this is how you treat you costumers??? After 3 hours, they let us in to the ship and informed that now we can have food at the buffet and wait till 20.00 for our rooms to ...

After reading previous reviews of this cruise i wasn't expecting it to be fantastic, but it was even worse than the review said. We have been cruising for over 10 years with many different cruise companies and this was the worst one I've been on by a long shot The ship was extremely old and outdated. My cabin had wooden pillars on the wall which creaked and cracked every time the boat moved. On ...
