Terrible experience. No 5 stars by far

Review for Silver Spirit to Mediterranean

Chaos is the basic for this experience. Not only caused by the Covid restrictions but overall there’s a huge lack of quality in service, attitude and amenities. Considering people are paying at least over $1200,= per night, you are expecting the absolute best. What is delivered is a Royal Caribbean cut money policy where not the quality but the quantity is boss. Expect poor, poor beds and ...

Just home from 7 day cruise on the Epic.this was my partners first cruise and my first cruise on norweign having previously sailed with Royal Caribbean on 7 occasions . We booked everything via Norwegian including flights. The flights where great with aer lingus and vueling(such a good airline first time flying with them) I had applied for the upgrade to a 2 bed state room in the Haven as a ...

Perfect cruise on the Splendor

Review for Seven Seas Splendor to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We just disembarked the Regent Splendor in Monte Carlo.yesterday. This was our first cruise in 2 years due to Covid. Needless to say we were very anxious about the pretesting, on cruise Covid testing and the ability of Regent to deliver a memorable experience after shutdowns, safely especially with the varying Covid regulations in differing countries. We sailed from Trieste Italy and ...

1.2 Billion Dollars worth of Incompetence

Review for Norwegian Epic to Europe - Western Mediterranean

It's probably going to be difficult to describe the full extend of our disappointment with this cruise, but I'll give it my best try, with as much detail as possible so that you can appreciate why we were so disappointed. Embarkation Got on after spending an endless time waiting for an antigen test (which later showed up on the invoice as a $65 pp charge, when it doesn't even cost half ...

Great family time and no detail is over looked

Decided to take our grown children on there first cruise. Ages 30 and 25. My husband and I have sailed several times on the Explorer. We had given the kids a heads up they would be the youngest adults traveling. This experience was going to be about family time, and giving them a taste of Italy, Spain,France and Croatia. We are all vaccinated but still had to test prior to boarding. In ...

Stunning ship

2 Years later than originally planned but so worth the wait. I would have given my review 5 stars but we were on a 17 night back to back cruise and the first week was not quite as expected. This was due to 2 large corporate American groups onboard - not what I was expecting on a Regent Cruise, and from what I can gather is not normal for Regent? It did not have the feel of a holiday cruise ...

Review for Star Clipper to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Never lost

This was my fourth and probably last star clipper cruise. The clipper was recently placed back in service after a 2 year dry dock - where it seems it just sat with no real improvements. Decking was in horrible shape after 2 years of no use - some of which had broken materials and had to be taped off. Plumbing in our cabin didn’t work and needed to be fixed ( never really worked well but it did ...

Chose this cruise because of the itinerary (mostly ports we had never visited) and a prior very positive experience on Silversea. The cruise itself, the staff, the ship, the overall experience was wonderful. However.... The pre-cruise experience was less than such. I will blame Covid. While we were aware that a 24-hour pre-embarkation test was required, which we chose to have administered ...

A Cheap cruise it was but I expected far better - this isn't good Princess

Review for Regal Princess to Mediterranean

User Avatar

I'm only giving this 3 stars because it was excellent value for money (ie cheap) but almost everything about Princess and the ship, in general, was a bit of a disaster. I was glad there was room for 1000 more guests as that kept the ship bearable. I would like to see this ship full! Despite not having a full ship the service was terrible, with a lack of trained staff in way too many areas. ...

Based on this cruise Regent is not what it was.

Review for Seven Seas Voyager to Europe - Western Mediterranean

We have sailed with Regent previously and always found them excellent so chose this cruise to enable us to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary as we missed out on our 50 th the previous year due to COVID limitations. Internally the ship is generally looking rather old fashioned. There is not a lot of public areas and the outside deck at the stern by the Horizon Lounge is fitted out with ...
