I am currently on the Jewel of the Seas on the TA cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton.
We flew to Miami on the 4th April with American Airlines. This was the first time flying with them and I was very impressed with the whole experience. There was more leg room than with other airlines we had used in the past and the boarding process was much more organised. The airline crew were very ...
I just rejoined Cruise Critic after a long absence. My wife and I are taking about 2 cruises per month on Carnival and Royal. We live 30 min from Port Canaveral. The Allure is a beautiful ship with a great staff. Everyday, we were met with smiles whether it was the front desk, the casino, or the Foodjammer . We were greeted by name in some of the shops and the casino also. This was our Diamond+ ...
Sewer smell in old carpet along the Stateroom halls. Same Low grade foods every day. The Breads and baking foods are old. I don't think They are baked here on the ship because of the looks, feel and smell.
The Fruits are so small, 1/2 to 1/3 the regular sizes and cheap looking, you won't find these low quality, cheap fruits in the US supermarkets. The fried foods have old, dark, smelly ...
I want to give a huge thanks to Henry who was our server for dinner. He was so amazing. He entertained us while also serving us. He was such a blast of fun while we were on the cruise. I also want to give a huge thank you to Frankie the security guard. Frankie was absolutely amazing. I could tell that he loved his job and that he loved being there. He was amazing he took his job seriously and ...
RC employees are most likely to assure you fall in love with their customer service. You may not love the ship; Enchantment of the Seas but, you'll definitely have the most memorable moments of how each of the staff members are extremely detail oriented & know how to multi task all while catering to your needs & wants. Wahyu was a gem as he remembered my entire family drink orders & personal ...
We took a cruise to celebrate Spring Break. We departed from Miami Terminal G. Upon first arrival in the terminal, the age and lack of cleanliness were apparently going to foreshadow the remainder of the trip. While everyone in the terminal was very nice, it just was not up to the Celebrity status that we have come accustomed to.
Our first stop was in Key West which did go smoothly. It was ...
This cruise has been a total and complete disaster. We are currently on the Celebrity Summit. We got on the ship and should have gone w our gut feeling to turn around and get off. It has been the worst vacation we have ever had! Our room was dirty and disgusting upon arrival. We tried to get off in Key West but due to the Jones Act we would have been charged around $4k to get off. We sucked it up ...
Many time cruiser but first on the Royal mega-size. Exceeded expectations, yes there are 6000 people but they're spread out and there are some nice places to hang out without crowds like the Central Park.
Had five grandchildren along (ages 3 to 14) and they all found fun things to do. Coco Cay day was impacted by cold rain but I'm sure when the weather is nice it's even better.
Liked the ...
I’ll start this review by saying I am a very experienced cruiser with status on Disney, Royal and Carnival and this was my first and probably last Celebrity cruise for a while.
Starting on a positive note with pros - the interior of the ship was redone during COVID so the rooms are very pretty. We went during a peak week so we did 2 ocean view cabins on the third deck and they were very ...
our 21st cruise. 7th on Celebrity going back to the Century. Sadly our cruising days are over. We booked late so got an inside room on deck 2. It was dirty, missing towels and Kleenex unit our 2nd day. There was no Captain Club welcome, nothing. The ship is worn. How is it a 23 year old ship is still sailing when the beautiful Century got scraped years ago? We easily got into anytime dining at ...
