Despite what I consider to be the most apt review title, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise albeit plagued by a very high numbers of people experiencing prolonged bouts of chesty coughing and sneezing with some also suffering bouts of the dreaded Noro Virus.

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. After booking the 21 day cruise I discovered I was gluten intolerant and went on a gluten free diet. I thought I would be doomed to eat foods naturally gluten free and have to pass up so many of the goodies. My husband and I chose this cruise to connect with a previously booked 11 night South Pacific cruise aboard the Explorer of the Seas. We enjoy sea days and so new that this itinerary would work well for us.
We enjoy sea days and the Cruise Director (Dan) and staff did a great job of ensuring a wide variety of activities were offered on this cruise.

Every aspect of the ship, staff, entertainment etc was wonderful. The Activity Director and his staff were absolutely tireless when offering such a variety of activities. I can't think of anything that RC could do to make that part better.

Waiters were slow and had communication problems at the start of the cruise but were great by the end. Entertainment was fantastic....always something to do if you wanted to and I had a ball. Great way to get from US to Australia. Best crew we’ve ever had—the Captain was very friendly and accessible, Hotel Manager, Michael Landry was visible, responsive and friendly, MDR and Windjammer staff were great. We chose this cruise to sample Micronesia and Australia. The ship was just the right size to do this. Anything smaller would have been short on public spaces and activities. Service was excellent. We even had to have a leaky toilet fixed at 4:00 a.m. The repairman was there in 10 minutes to fix it and within 20 minutes security was there with a room attendant to sanitize the whole bathroom.
