Relaxing, extremely good service

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Ruby Princess

Having done quite a few princess cruises, the Ruby is one of our favorite ships. The size is perfect; the large theatre can hold everyone if they do two shows ( which they typically do). The shows were spectacular-from the dancers and singer to the comedian and Magician. Amazing employees that act like they really like their jobs. The food was excellent in the dining room. We never felt rushed. ...

Round trip out of Seattle, didn't have to fly. Ship is a bit tired but it was clean. Crew was friendly and helpful. Buffet was a zoo so didn't use it, Very crowded and didn't find anything appetizing. Dinner in main dining room was good as was breakfast and lunch. Two diners in the Crown Grill were excellent. International Cafe was very good as was Vines. Astoria is a nice town but ...

It was our first cruise, and did we get lucky choosing Princess. If you don't have a magnificent time on a cruise with Princess,it's your own fault, for sure, period! We were amazed by the size of the ship, and how all the passengers were accommodated so well. What a friendly, knowledgeable, professional beyond belief staff! It didn't matter what employee it was,as they all were gracious, and gave you a ...

We went on this cruise to relaxation and succeed. Check In started in Seattle and was very quick and simple (minus the traffic getting to the port). The food was OK... kind of bland but there is always salt and pepper. They had great entertainment, however, there were many occasions we looked at the schedule and found there was nothing to do and many activities were packed because there were so ...

Liked that it left out of Seattle. Salty Dog had great white tomato soup and lobster Mac and cheese. Crown grill was great. Only problem was the barista coffee station on deck 5. Crew was arguing amongst themselves. Otherwise everything was great. For some reason some passengers think because marijuana is legal in WA state that it’s legal on ships. It isn’t. New menu in the dining room was ...

We chose upon word of mouth from others. We spoke to no one who could fault princess. We were not let down. Embarkation was flawless. Very organised with different cabin groups allocated different times. Bag check and customs flowed very well. This will be repeated often throughout this review, staff were wonderful. They could not do enough to help and made the process so much more enjoyable. ...

Very disappointed

Alaska Cruise on our bucket list; Princess, was recommended over RC as being a step up, as a great Cruise line. We have taken many cruises so we wanted our Alaska adventure to be the best. Very disappointed, Cruise ship was just OK. Bathroom was smallest ever on a cruise ship. Buffet selections were limited and not very tasty. Also, even though Sanitizer stations were present throughout ...

Elite Ruby Princess falls short of expectations.

Watch you tube reviews of different ships before making your choice. Cruising costs a good chunk, but it should be well worth it. Alaska and it's ports were well worth it. However, ship staff, buffet, anytime dining, staterooms and staff helpful/friendliness fell flat. If you do choose to cruise with Princess, I highly recommend opting for club class. It's a little extra, but the perks ...

Disembarkation incompetence

First let me start by saying that Alaska is amazing and a fantastic experience. Glacial Bay is so beautiful mere words do not do it justice. However, I was disappointed in my cruise on the Ruby Princess. Overall most of the staff was very nice and do their best to make your cruising experience a positive one. Some things were just badly handled. In Juneau the lines to disembark the ship were ...
