Pros: *Very kind staff - easily see everyone smiling behind their masks *Adventure Ocean open for kids and provided fun times *Bands and comedy - amazing and very entertaining - Phil Tag is a fave for sure. *ship not crowded! For once no wait on the elevators and getting around Cons (we knew this was an older demographic cruise and thought less party but still ...

We are quite experienced cruisers and wanted to go to Alaska, and wanted to try a new experience on a different line. This was our opportunity. Our first impression was that it was quite like our other experiences, and we joked with each other the main difference was that it was "much louder". But after a while we began to notice some significant differences. The overall impression was that ...

Apologize for the length - short version - embarkation sucked, rest of the cruise was good/great, debarkation was excellent Our cruise was initially canceled due to sailing out of Vancouver. They redid the schedule to sail from Seattle, canceled Skagway and added Ketchikan. Pre-cruise, my wife and I did three days in Seattle, never been there and had a wonderful time. It's a walkable city as ...

For our birthdays, our group decided we wanted to cruise and celebrate our birthdays together. It was magnificent to be together safely and enjoy seven days of cruising. The entire team onboard at Royal Caribbean was 1st class and we enjoyed our cruise very much. Our memories together are really priceless and thank you. Our balcony room on the 10th floor was located in such a convenient spot ...

We disembarked yesterday evening and much has been very good. My husband and I are celebrating our 11 year anniversary, having waited through Covid (we *were* wanting to do our 10 year to Alaska last August, but alas). Mostly we’re looking forward to reading, relaxing, watching movies, and maybe do some hiking at the ports (we can’t splurge on any excursions, unfortunately). Honestly, just a ...

This was welcome back cruise since Covid. So blessed to be able to sail again. We had to wear mask in common areas. Everyone was vaccinated except children under 16. There were only 600 or so people on this ship so the service was amazing from the waiters, bartenders, etc. Everyone was so nice. In fact it was the best cruise out of 25 cruises for service. NEGATIVE!!!! - activities - I ...

We have been C&A members for many years and been always pleased with the services and treatment on board of RCI ships. We been grateful to the army of the hardworking members of the RCI team, many ymployees, cabin attendants, restaurant workers, cooks, etc. for their efforts to make our vacation comfortable and enjoyable. We never complained. This time, however , we encountered something ...

Despite what I consider to be the most apt review title, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise albeit plagued by a very high numbers of people experiencing prolonged bouts of chesty coughing and sneezing with some also suffering bouts of the dreaded Noro Virus. Thankfully my wife avoided the Noro Virus but both regrettably fell foul to the coughing sickness and in my case twice, with only ...

Superb attention to my gluten free diet

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. After booking the 21 day cruise I discovered I was gluten intolerant and went on a gluten free diet. I thought I would be doomed to eat foods naturally gluten free and have to pass up so many of the goodies. The first night, in the dining room, when I told my waiter about my diet needs, he brought the head waiter over to talk to me. From then on, ...

Very Disappointing

This was a 21 night cruise from Seattle to Sydney Australia. Our previous cruises were all on Princess so this was our first experience with RC. The ship was in excellent condition and the staff was friendly with great emphasis on washing your hands. However, the food was not good. In 21 days we ate at every outlet and struggled to find a "good" meal. Speciality dining was the only option that ...
