80s Cruise onboard Regal Princess

Review for Regal Princess to Alaska

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

We are first time 'cruisers' and were tempted by Imagine Crusing's offering of three 80s bands playing onboard Regal Princess including Nik Kershaw, Toyah and ABC. The pre-departure infomation from Imagine was abysmal as was the Medallion App for logging our information. In the end I had to resort to calling Imagine and then spend 30minutes asking and answering questions to prep for the cruise. ...

Pros: *Very kind staff - easily see everyone smiling behind their masks *Adventure Ocean open for kids and provided fun times *Bands and comedy - amazing and very entertaining - Phil Tag is a fave for sure. *ship not crowded! For once no wait on the elevators and getting around Cons (we knew this was an older demographic cruise and thought less party but still ...

Celebrity is our favorite line and Alaska one of our favorite destinations. Here is my ramblings and thoughts on a fabulous week. The highlight was definitely just being back on board with these hard-working happy crewmembers and then being able to see the northern lights which I’ve been waiting for my entire life. Celebrity 7 Night Alaska Dawes Glacier Cruise sailing on 08/27/2021 We were ...

Well it was nice to get back to cruising, The Millennium was wonderful. We have been on the Equinox, Reflection, Mercury and Century before but not on this class of ship. Being we were only at 50% cruisers it was easy to get around to all the venues. All of the staff were fantastic. All the staff were wearing masks. Food of course with celebrity is very good. Shows were exceptional. We missed ...

It is great being able to cruise again

This was our first cruise since the Pandemic hit. The Millennium was revolutionized since we were last on board and the ship is absolutely beautiful. We were in a Celebrity Suite. We choose the larger suites in order to have a separate bedroom, but are not in love with the Celebrity Suites. It has a small balcony and a large whirlpool tub/shower in the small interior bathroom. The tub is very ...

My wife and I are regular cruisers... other thst 2020, we go on at least 1, if not two cruises per year. We also prefer 10 to 16 day cruises. So when my wife's friend asked us to join her on her first cruise to Alaska, we said yes. Then she said it was on Carnival. We did some research and decided we would give them another try. We have had some TERRIBLE experiences on Carnival, and ...

We are quite experienced cruisers and wanted to go to Alaska, and wanted to try a new experience on a different line. This was our opportunity. Our first impression was that it was quite like our other experiences, and we joked with each other the main difference was that it was "much louder". But after a while we began to notice some significant differences. The overall impression was that ...

We live in Seattle and have always wanted to go on an Alaska cruise, but for some reason we hadn't been there yet. The easy part is that we didn't have to fly anyplace! We found everything about our experience to be wonderful. From ease of embarkation, our room (deck 6, port side, mid-ship). The meal in the Pinnacle Grill was excellent; our lasagna in Canaletto was probably the best we have ...

Warning - Miserable stressful trip

Review for Nieuw Amsterdam to Alaska

We originally chose this trip because Seth Wayne was promoting HAL and we thought it would be relaxing and fun after a very stressful year from COVID. We did not have COVID but we had to comply with all the regulations and the fear of contacting it. From the beginning it was stressful. First the cruise agent (Cruisewise) did not get us early dining but anytime dining. When we called her and ...

A nice cruise to Alaska

Review for Nieuw Amsterdam to Alaska

User Avatar

An Alaskan Cruise sounded like a nice get away, and a restart in the Cruise Industry. The ship had everything we could need onboard. We were welcomed when we arrived and our luggage was in our room promptly. The staff was reliable, and available when needed. The food was good, and we were well attended. We had a few glitches. We had an excursion and were given the info for where to get on the ...
