Food was good on most nights. Princess needs more comedy shows. The room was kept clean twice a day. All the employees were super friendly. Internet was slow. Book your shore excursions in advance. I was really getting about this Pacific Northwest cruise after reading so many negative reviews on this site, but I am happy to say that we had a nice time. I should say we are in our 50s, and this was our 8th cruise, with our last being 3 years ago on NCL.

Mainly, just wanted to do a cruise. Selected this one because It had places I had never been. Everything went well, easy getting on the ship, and especially loved the Valet embarkation. We cruise a lot so feel we can make reasonable comparisons. We really ENJOYED this cruise. This was a fun cruise for us. We are 71 and 72, so not youngsters, and often enjoy "peaceful" cruises to educational places....unique ports in Alaska most recently. These types of cruises are indeed worthwhile, but for just having FUN, this cruise was it.

Chose this cruise because our nominee for Entertainer of the Year Lou Gazzara was a featured entertainer. Lou is the best vocalist we have ever heard on a Princess Ship.

It's a very large ship with a lot of people to serve. Don't expect personal service or much attention from the crew. Food is decent but with the best reserved for the $30pp specialty restaurants.
