So there are ups and downs on this cruise. Our suite was very nice, big nicely laid out with a big tub overlooking the ocean. Your told not to bother to book dinner reservations online because your in a suite and therefore have "priority" That translates to :as long as you want to eat at 10pm....(who wants to eat at 10pm) We found that out on day one.

Embarkation began at about 11:30 am so I would not recommend checking in before 11:00. We checked in at about 11:00 and got onto the ship about 45 minutes later. There are a few free activities but many of them try to sell you something such as $200 insoles. I did attend stretching and abdomen fitness classes (~20 minutes each at 7 am) that were pretty good. We cruised to Alaska on the Norwegian Pearl out of Seattle. There were 20 of us in the party (family reunion), ranging from ages 5-75. Here are the pros and cons:
