Way too crowded. Tons of hidden costs. Not a pleasant experience.
"First the Good: The staff on the Bliss is wonderful, every single staff member we encountered was very pleasant and genuinely seemed happy to help. Service in restaurants, hotels and any where you go in..."Read More

We wanted to do Alaska cruise and was recommended by travel agent. Also because it was one where you don't have to get dressed up and can eat when you want to. Our group consisted of my husband and 14 year old daughter. ( Who is an introvert and loves to read all the time, this was a great trip for her) Pros We had midship balcony cabin and it was perfect for the three of us. Had lots of ...

This was our fourth trip on an Alaskan cruise and while it was the newest ship we sailed on, it was a freaking nightmare. We traveled on Norwegian 10 months prior and it was great, but it absolutely was all about the populace on the ship. It was an irritating challenge every time you wanted to eat at the buffet -- so so so many people. Bear in mind this ship holds well more than 4,000 people. Our ...

Download App prior to boarding the Ship. Kids club not worth it.

Remember to download the App prior to boarding. A lot of people in our party weren't able to download the App once the ship set sail even when we came to ports. It was difficult for our kids and cousins to communicate without having the App. They couldn't message each other and so it was hard to keep them together. Be sure to book your Go Karts & Laser Tag first thing when you get on the ship. ...

I took this cruise because we had 12 family members also going. The cabin with balcony was everything I expected. Just great. But we never saw ourStuart. There was a sign about towels on the floor to be exchanged and on the hooksto be used again. Didn't matter what we did they took all of them for exchange, but didn'tchange the beds, ever. All the bartenders were great. Very personable. ...

This was one of our all-time favourite cruises! The Norwegian Bliss is one of the most beautiful ships we've been on (modern, tasteful, understated elegance rather than in your face opulence). The staff were amazing - all were genuinely friendly and helpful. The port stops in Juneau and Skagway were awesome - as were the shore excursions (visit to glacier, whale watching, kayaking and White Pass ...

We were on the last cruise of the Alaska season for the NCL Bliss. The people where excellent even for the last cruise. The food was great. The ship was beautiful with lots of activities. The race track was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the comedians. Saving the best for last - the casino was non smoking. They have a glassed in Casino for the smokers. We ate dinner at 3 specialty places - ...

This was our first Cruise, it was great to see Alaska. I would like to say that Jake the cruise director was lots of fun and did a great job in keeping everyone happy and laughing all the time. Being our first cruise I would like to say that the food was fair, went to a few of the show and they were great. Some of the special dinning were fair to middle. The store were lots of fun to shop at. The ...

We left from Seattle, and arrived the day before ship departure. We stayed at Hotel Ändra, highly recommended and great location. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great time exploring Pike Market, Space Needle etc. We actually would have spent more time here! But we came for a cruise, and it sure delivered. This ship is absolutely fantastic, but what makes it even more of a spectacular ...

I wanted to explore a new destination Alaska and what better way than on a cruise ship especially the Norwegian Bliss which was designed for Alaska Cruises. I've been on several Norwegian Cruises over the years and to me they are very well organized especially with both the embarkation and disembarkation. A lot of people don't understand that the disembarkation process depends a lot on custom but ...

High marks for Norwegian Cruise Line! The ship was wonderful, the service was very good, and the scenery was tremendous. It was a great way for my wife and I to celebrate our 25th anniversary. A few minor annoyances worth noting: 1) There aren't enough elevators for a ship this large, so plan on waiting several minutes before one becomes available; 2) Every time you walk onto the ship or into a ...
