This was our 4th cruise from this port with this destination but the first on Royal Caribbean from this port, second on Royal Caribbean total. I agree with some of the other reviewers regarding this particular cruise. I felt like we were the "leftover" cruisers. This ship had come from the South Pacific/Australia, and was gearing up for the Alaska cruise season. RCI was trying to fill a five-day gap and so they created this special cruise.

We chose this one-night cruise on the Westerdam in order to get from Seattle to Vancouver to board a longer cruise the next day. It was a fantastic experience. I love Holland America.
Embarkation - I rate this a C. Honestly, I felt they got us on the ship late, (12:00p) and it was really disorganized. No one knew the boarding was numbered and everyone rushed up to try and get in. We took this cruise as a quick weekend getaway to, well, get away from the teenagers. We took the Amtrak Cascades train down to Seattle from Vancouver the evening before which I found to be a very enjoyable way to get down there.
