I can say amazing, but that word means so many things to people. Here's what it means to me and why this cruise was absolutely amazing for me: - surrounded by incredible views from anywhere on the ship. From watching whales on our balcony, otter seals swimming by that looked like they were waving, sunsets and majestic mountains and glaciers - it was like sailing in paradise. - outstanding ...

Crown Princess really delivered on our first cruise to Alaska!

I always do a lot of research before any vacation. I found that Princess (Crown) goes through Glacier Bay - which many do not. It was our first cruise, and I had read many not-so-positive reviews about the wear and tear of the Crown, the poor buffet food, the rude crew...I was a bit apprehensive. However, from embarkation to disembarkation, it was wonderful! EVERY crew member I passed smiled ...

Alaska was the destination of choice...so cruising seemed the best way to do it. We live near the port and found arrangements to be very easy. I had no idea we were going to love rising the way we do now. The cabin was much roomier than anticipated, the service was phenominal, and amenities were fabulous. Every port was wonderful and we could not wait to book our next cruise. We enjoyed ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise - a little pricey but this was Alaska. Stayed in a mini suite allowing us more room with a full size tub. Our Steward [Ricky] was excellent and attentive. The food in the main dining room was excellent and service was exceptional [not so much the buffet – not too many choices there]. Also dined in the “extra pay” steak house – disappointing, - Service was slow ...

We have cruised many cruise lines but by far Princess is my favorite. Adam the cruise director was not as outgoing as I would have preferred but he did an adequate job. The musical group, was outstanding. I say that even though I can't remember the name of the group. I think it was Static, but nonetheless they were very entertaining. We actually departed on the 13th, and we arrived two days before ...

We Cruised with our 16 year old Grandson who has life threatening allergies and found Princess Cruises to be very accommodating for his needs. My wife and I are Vegan and our Head Waiter Jose in any time dining did an excellent job of directing the three of us and getting us safe and tasty meals! We found the wait staff in the anytime dinning friendly and remembered our needs like hot water with ...

Cruising My Retirement

This was my "test drive" cruise to decide if I want to cruise back2back for the next 20 years. I cruised in the distant past, but not for 15 years or so. I was looking for a clean, classy, calm ship, and the Crown fit this description. I selected an inside cabin, to keep my costs in check. With the beds split, there is plenty of space. The cabin has enough room to store everything I will need ...

We traveled with our 2 children and 3 other family members on a wonderful Princess Alaskan Cruise. i loved everything about it. We arrived around 11:00 to get on the ship, no problems at all, no lines. We were allowed to go to the 15th level and enjoy the buffet. Around 3:30 we were called to our Muster stations to practice safety drills. Then at 4, we set sail. There are photographers at ...

My husband, 12-year old daughter and I took the Crown Princess for 7 days and it was an absolutely remarkable vacation! Princess Cruise line did a fantastic job on all accounts. (This was our fifth cruise as a family, and have previously sailed on both Carnival and Disney.) We were upgraded --free-- at the last minute to a room with a window, which was fantastic for watching the whales from our ...

We booked a suite this time to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was wonderful. This room was quite large. Living and dining area, large bed, bath and shower, makeup area and a very nice bathroom which is separate from the shower and bath. We have been to Alaska three previous times and decided to enjoy the room and large balcony. The balcony takes 1/4 of the length of the back of the ship on ...
