My wife and I have cruised on various lines but are loyal to Celebrity and it pays off with the perks of Captain's Club Elite. We enjoyed 4 nights in Seattle at the Marriott Waterfront. We enbarked on the Infinity with no problems. We carried our baggage to the ship on the morning of Sept. 21 and had it inspected and loaded within 5 minutes. We then went to Pike Place Market and got some ...

Our 17 day cruise was the longest cruise we have taken yet. I convinced my husband that we should share the cost out of our private funds since the budget couldn't take another cruise this year. It was our birthday present to each other. My husband hurt his back a week before the cruise so it was really iffy as to whether we would be able to go but I kept the faith and we went. Our first ...

Sept 18 & 19: We left home around 1:00 pm to drive to Portland, ME. Stayed at the Marriott Sable Oaks, our favorite hotel in Portland. We stayed overnight, and left our car there for the duration of the cruise. At 4:00 a.m. we took their free shuttle to the airport. Check-in was a breeze, so we had time for coffee and a bagel before heading to the gate. Flight went through Chicago, and we ...

We booked this cruise as a getaway/40th anniversary celebration. Our daughter was married 9/15, the last houseguest left on 9/18 and we flew to Seattle 9/21 and boarded the Infinity. It was raining when we got to Seattle so we abandoned our plans to tour the city and went directly to the cruise terminal. We were first in line to go through security but did not board first as they took the suite ...

This was our 25th cruise, our second on Celebrity. We loved it - we were part of a group of 12 and the overall concensus was that Celebrity definitely does an above average job of providing a value-added cruise experience. Our Concierge cabin was perfect, the daily fruit bowls and canapes were great, and the flowers in the cabin and bathroom were a wonderful touch. The shower was comfortable, ...

First let me thank Patty for all her hard work setting up the events for the cruise critic members,we met a lot of nice people on the events and it made the sea day's a little more interesting. Patty, I hope your tumble didn't ruin the last few day's of the cruise for you. Started out with a couple of day's in Seattle before embarking, always a fun time in the emerald city and the weather co ...

Listed below is the good, the bad, and the ugly. Perhaps due to the number of cruises we have taken, it has made us more critical. We are not looking for perfection in a cruise, but we also don't look the other way when things go wrong. We enjoyed our cruise, but the below is for the benefit of future cruisers and Celebrity. Sorry, we don't sugar coat our review. Room There was quite a bit of ...

We have been cruising with Celebrity for the last 5 years. I personally don't want to change cruise companies since everything we want on a cruise, they offer. The staff on the Infinity are amazing. They are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The ship is very comfortable and just big enough that it doesn't feel at all crowded. The food is great and plenty of choices. One thing that I ...

*We arrived in Seattle three days prior to boarding and stayed at the Vintage Park Hotel, a small boutique hotel that was just right for us. We had their Town Car pick us up at the airport, which was reasonable for two of us. Wine and cheese every night and breakfast each morning was included in our package. We then had their Town Car service take four of us and all our luggage to the port. ...

THE GOOD. . . We have had to revise our opinion on the Panama Canal cruise we just did with Celebrity's because in the final analysis, the cruise, except for some unpleasant incidents, was not . . . too bad. Celebrity' strongest asset is their staff. They have some of the most courteous and pleasant staff we have encountered on a cruiseship. Most of them, except for the ...
