Our Sea Dream I cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona got off to a poor start. Unlike Silversea, which we have used several times, Sea Dream was chaotic in a rain storm. The taxi couldn't get close to the terminal, boarding was an hour or two late and there was no canopy to protect us from driving rain as we boarded. We sailed from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Venice, Italy. It was a wonderful itinerary and we really appreciated the late stays in port. We are 4th time SD cruisers-and were so excited to experience our 2nd time in the Med on a SD cruise. We were very disappointed with all the areas that SD makes the difference. Firstly-the Activities Director-Daniel-was less than attentive at follow up and never once did I see him personally on an excursion- (that were all too long and way over priced as compared to the past experiences).
