Our TA warned us that we would be "ruined" after sailing on Seabourn...he was so right! From the embarkation to debarkation we were treated like Royalty. Each moment was a new experience. The Staff met our every need. Entertainment was over the top! Kudos to Robert amazing Cruise Director, and talented Singer! Food was fabulous! Service great! We did a Zodiak to the Misty ...

We chose this cruise at the 2 months prior to embarkation. Got one of the last V3 cabins, but 5 weeks later got an offer from Seabourn to upgrade to a penthouse suite for $299 per person, Took it and loved the suite. It really added to the experience. It was our second time on Seabourn. The weather turned poor half way through, but that's Alaska in September. Ventures by Seabourn excursions were ...

I used critic extensively to research cruises and thought I’d give back as Ive been on 12+ cruises,3 in the past year. We booked the Odyssey fairly last minute. We’re from the Vancouver area and decided to go about a month in advance. We’re casual, outdoorsy people and thought Seabourn might be a good fit, we were not wrong. We were a little frustrated with the port of Vancouver experience,it ...

Adventure and luxury in Alaska

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

Most Alaska cruises are 7 day affairs with stops at a glacier, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. Been there, done that. We chose a 14 day itinerary that included the normal ports plus much more. Some examples: a fantastic excursion to watch bears fishing for salmon. A zodiac at the nature-rich Inian Islands (humpbacks, sea lions, otters, eagles). Zodiac from the ship up to Dawes Glacier; icebergs ...

Seabourn - still fabulous after all these years!

Still Fabulous after all these years! My husband and I first sailed aboard Seabourn in the Mediterranean in 2005 and then again in 2011 aboard the Seabourn Legend, one of their smaller ships. Those two voyages turned us into small-ship cruise enthusiasts. We remembered how amazingly friendly and attentive the entire crew was towards all the passengers—their willingness to do anything to make ...

Best cruise line ever!

Amazing cruise! The food was some of the best we've ever had. The 24/7 access to caviar and champagne was one of the many decadent perks on this cruise. The Patio Earth & Ocean restaurant was our personal favorite. The food and ambiance was consistently fantastic, and it was always our first choice for dinner. It was the perfect addition for those wanting a more relaxed, yet refined dining ...

The Sojourn is an excellent ship. Almost everything is inclusive. Thomas Keller aka “The French Laundry and Per Se Signature restaurant “. You can only reserve it once on the cruise. Do not fret over it. The main dining room and the second restaurant have daily menus on Thomas Keller inspired cuisine. I will post copies of it later. Service on the ship was impeccable. One morning the ...

Excellent all around

For our tenth or so cruise, we chose Seabourn Sojourn to Alaska. We are very happy with that decision. We had a balcony suite. I think all cabins are suites. Not a separate room, but a large cabin with separate sitting area and curtains separating the lounge area from the bed. There is a separate shower with glass door, a bit small, but good for a ship; and a tub. Double sink vanity which is a ...

Simply The Best Service and Value

After cruising on the "big box" lines for over 20 years we decided to try Seabourn, and oh what a difference! From the moment you arrive, you are on a first name basis with the crew and your fellow passengers. The cabins onboard, with the exception of the larger Penthouse and Spa Suites, are identical in features and amenities and placement for your specific place on the ship is left to your ...

We Will be Doing Seabourn Again

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We chose this cruise (west coast repositioning, Vancouver to LA) for the price and itinerary. We were very pleased, Seabourn delivered what they promised. The itinerary was Vancouver, Seattle (1 1/2 days), Portland (1 1/2 days), San Francisco (2 days), Monterey (1 day), Santa Barbara (1 day) San Pedro (debarkation port for LA). 11 days for $4,495 per person, tips and beverages ...
