Overall very good

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

Seabourn Ovation was a very good experience as we like a peaceful cruise, excellent service and do not require many activities. The food and service in the main restaurant has greatly improved since our last cruise and is outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the speciality nights at The Colonade. The new restaurant Solis had just opened. It has a great ambience and spacious seating area but the ...

Ovation needs refreshing!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

We are still onboard the Ovation, coming to the end of our two week cruise. We are in the Wintergarden suite with an adjoining Veranda suite on deck 8. The accomodations are spacious, but showing wear; especially the sofa and dining table. The two chairs in the room are not comfortable chairs for getting cosy and reading. The mattress is worn on one side and there are lots of soft, but lumpy ...

I just sailed on the Seabourn Ovastion with a seven day cruise, everything was as advertised and a great product value for money. The staff members are very attentive to your needs, and the cruise director especially so a lovely lady named Loula Geater was excellent in all facets odf her job. The food was to die for , the Seabourn Square with their cappucinos and lava chocolate chip cookies, the ...

Beautiful Ship - Some Flaws in Design & Operations

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Seabourn Pursuit

The Seabourn Pursuit was on a reposition cruise from Miami to Barbados, before heading on to the Amazon and eventually Antarctica. Since the ports were typical Caribbean, and the ship was in non expedition mode, I will focus on the ship itself. Pros: -The Ship: impressive sleek design, Seabourn really took a step forward with many elements. -Lounges: Ship was very spacious, never felt ...

We were looking for an all inclusive, luxury ocean cruise in the Caribbean and selected the 10-day Seabourn Ovation cruise from Barbados to Miami. The Ovation is a beautiful, well-designed ship with attractive and comfortable public areas. Though we were booked in the lowest category veranda suite on deck 5, it was the best stateroom we ever had on a cruise ship. Spacious with plenty of ...

Haphazard service among all dining venues. Disappointing.

We started cruising with Seabourn 25 years ago and have never changed lines since. What defined the experience for us was the ability to truly relax because you knew that the team would take care of you. For example, you wouldn't have to worry about your coffee being cold, or finding a vacant lounger, or being seated promptly at the MDR. This cruise was different. Unfortunately. For the first ...

This was our 5th. Seabourn cruise , the final sailing from Barbados for the winter Caribbean season. Many highlights included, a seamless embarkation , with only 6 others guests at a time, a great Barbados band before sail away, large expanse of glass looking onto the balcony, gracious crew, a guest lecturer , great shows , lots of great movies, superb Helen deLange trio in the Club, and ...

We chose Seabourn having traveled with them before. As always the staff were delightfulm friendly, helpful and efficient. Our cabin was clean, spacious and well provided minibar was continually restocked. The food on board was generally superb. We ate mostly in the main dining room for dinner, Colonnade for breakfast and pool bar for snack lunch. Othee options available all the time. Simple ...

My first Seabourn Cruise, maybe my expectations were too high?

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

After reading many reviews of Seabourn I decided to book this cruise. The ship is smaller than the new floating Iran sprawl like tower blocks which was a real plus for me. The personal and attentive service by many staff was great but that seemed to magnify the faults when they showed. Breakfast in the collonade was an American buffet and options including none cremated bacon were available to ...

A world of comfort and luxury, but their vegetarian food really lets them down

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Seabourn Quest

User Avatar

This was our third Seabourn cruise, second on the Quest and we chose this one because we wanted to see Antarctica. Once again, we entered a world of comfort, luxury and plenty, all delivered with kindness and good humour by the hard working staff and crew. However unlike our previous two Seabourn cruises, we were quite disappointed by the vegetarian food on offer. Cabin Our cabin was on ...
